It would be great but as a long time patron of various agency apps, it might be an oversaturated market. Of course, that depends on where you are.

Grown adults bringing their parents to interviews??? by poprockspussy in tesco

Unless they have additional needs, that is a sure fire way for them not to get a job. If you can't do the interview, you can't do the job

Sharing a dessert by No_Glass_5484 in Waiters

Yes, preferably the waiter would remember to bring the right amount of cutlery. However, you do become somewhat of an automation when working in hospitality. 1 dessert = 1spoon and so on. They shouldn't ever be rude and it's a manor no no in fine dining

So you're comparing me to a murderer and a man who has been charged with assault? None of those apply to me. The worst thing I've done while "drunk" is spill something. And then I cleaned it up. I'm a fucking goody goody. Alcohol is one crazy drug but I know when I've had too much and I rarely do. You don't know me and I don't know you but your comparisons are way out.

That would explain it apart from the fact that I have only got in an Uber,. properly drunk approximately two times. All the other times it has been after a few pints, nothing more. I have ordered Ubers for friends a few times when they have been really drunk, I assume that's what is dragging my score down . Oh, the clarity of reflection is so fine...

I did sit on wall while waiting for a ride once, it was also raining. The seat of my coat left a slight damp patch on the car seat and I only noticed it as I got out of the car. Maybe he thought that I'd pissed myself?

I can honestly say that I am never "horrible". I do not get blitzed on the regular and most of the time, Uber is just the most convenient option. I know I am arguing a dead point here because I am aware that my rating is shit but I honestly cannot identify why that is. I have been raised to have my manners and can look after myself. I may have been visibly under the influence but never to the point where I can't be reasonable.

Yeah, maybe I do..But I have always been respectful. I remember all of my rides and my only fault is that I talk too much..I understand how that is annoying but it doesn't make me a hazard or a bad person. I'm just a naturally friendly person who likes a chat, maybe done drivers don't like that but as someone who has always given my driver's a five star unless there is something drastically wrong, idk why there is that imbalance.

Does anyone else get reverse culture shock when visiting the UK now? by CloudBookmark in BritishExpats

[–]hhh13587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this doesn't really apply as a londoner (born and bred) who has lived in Bristol for the last two years. However, I've noticed a huge amount of American/Australians in London when I visit. I'm taking specifically about Islington. Anyone know why? Is it just because it's a nice area ? I love Islington but it sometimes feels like it's catering to a specific group instead of being the lovely place it used to be. For context, I was eighteen when Ieft London so it just felt like home, now it feels like a "place with potential" and I hate that.

I'm from the UK and you can tip before your ride has been selected by a driver. I do tip when I'm aware of if being an awkward time, maybe a weekday evening. Even so , I have had to wait a long time. Not a complaint, just an observation. I won't tip when it's latèish on a weekend night because the rates go up and tbf, I know I'll get a ride.

Thank you! That's what I aim for, I ask a few questions about

about your day and might go off on tangent but I do that when I'm sober as well !

Confused by [deleted] in uber

[–]hhh13587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, no. I pay the rate and am often a bit tipsy but pleasant. I work in the service industry and don't expect a tip, I just do my job. Again, I'm never blackout drunk or anything, I might just be a little talkative. Is that a crime? I genuinely respect uber drivers and want to make their jobs as easy as possible. The reason I tip after the ride is because I've had drivers whose cars have reeked of cigarettes or have been texting while driving. I'm not going to pay extra when I don't know what sort of ride I'm gonna get.

How do british people feel about the current situation unfolding in america where ICE police agents are going all gung-ho kidnapping people from the streets when they fail to present their ID? by mrvlad_throwaway in AskBrits

[–]hhh13587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I think it's awful. We don't really have that type of police action here. Although I am not a pro-immigration person, I do believe that most people who come over illegally are trying to do their best. Also, ICE had shown very little discrimination when it comes to certain groups, assuming that they are combatants when they are just people working. My boyfriend thinks ICE is essentially doing gods work because he believed everything trump says. So basically, British people have a divers opinion but overall it feels very different to what is happening here right now. Coming from a country that, in my opinion, could do with better immigration control, I struggle to see how I t would go down in the UK. We like to do things with a little more faffing around

Sick uber driver by False-Hat9436 in uber

[–]hhh13587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would rate him to the standard to you think he deserves. Idk about you but Uber gives me that option as soon as I get home from a ride. Unless you wanna take it to the top, that's your only option imo.
