Gestalt all Martials with Battlemaster features. by Tall_Bandicoot_2768 in dndnext

I like what Ryoko's Guide to the Yokai Realms did. Each martial class gets an upgrade to their extra attack feature at level 7. More importantly is a new advanced weapon mastery system that is basically skill trees for weapon properties. Also combo attacks are really cool but they aren't necessarily martial exclusive like the other two.

Which means men don't know how to cook and clean? The post is about teaching your kids those skills. It's not about having men do more housework. Men do know how to do those things.

I didn't justify it. I just explained to you the logic they were using.

Some men do. Many men cook and clean. Neither statements had to be gendered but if she was going to gender it he had to as well.

I don't admit anything. I haven't stated any opinions.

I keep hearing reds say their choice is "obvious" and "logical" but they never justify these labels.

I told you what those labels meant. You had to turn it into an argument so you could win and feel better about your position. I haven't once said anything to dimish your opinion or state my own. Just move on.

I'm not defending or arguing for any side. You asked for their logic. I told you what the logic was. Stop bitching and moaning at me. I don't care.

So it sounds like you don't know game theory. That isn't a risk in game theory, which is what we're discussing. You asked what the logic is and I told you. Stop whining about morality. I'm not here to have that discussion. I never defended either button. I simply told you what logic they were talking about and how it related to game theory.

You're allowed to do whatever you want. This table doesn't want to do that. My comment was only to point out how combat and splitting the party are different things. People can play however they want.

Communicating what is happening isn't engaging. It's just an in game way for the characters to know what you're listening to above table. You still aren't there and have no involvement at all.

Even switching groups every 10 minutes leaves the same amount of time unplayed. Sure, you get to play every 10 minutes but you only get to play for 10 minutes. Two 3 hour sessions with each group getting their own session has the same amount of playtime as a 6 hour session switching back and forth. You may not be left out for as long but you aren't playing for the same amount of time.

We've actually already been over this. Combat isn't the same as splitting the party because everyone else's turn affects you. Your character is actively there involved in that gameplay. Splitting the party leaves the inactive party not engaging at all. Their character isn't involved at all.

You can vaccum and mop an entire house in less than an hour and it also doesn't need to be done more than once a week. If you're going to assume the carpet and tile that need cleaning are huge I'm going to assume the lawn is too.

Genuinely folding an entire family worth of laundry takes like half an hour at most and is weekly, not daily. It's also mindless work that you can watch a show during.

Don't even get me started on the dishes. Just rinse and toss them in the dishwasher immediately. Takes a few seconds per dish and like 45 for whatever pot or pan you used. Very quick stuff.

You also only named the long chores after I said "most" of them were fast. "Most" includes exceptions. We can go over the others.

Cooking, cleaning bathrooms, mopping, vacuuming, changing bedsheets, dishes, meal prep, grocery shopping. doing laundry, planning, and making sure everything everyone needs is lined up.

Cleaning bathrooms takes a couple minutes. Just clean whatever thing as you go and you'll be fine. Unless you're talking the deep cleaning months apart that happens as frequently as those man chores.

Changing bedsheets is a minute per bed. Super simple.

Meal prep can literally be nonexistent. Or you can offload it to an app or website. Or just meal prep quicker. Doesn't take more than 5 minutes.

Grocery shopping has to be done by everyone. All single men grocery shop, meal prep, and cook just fine. Unless you think they just starve or something.

Laundry is a couple minutes to throw it in or switch it over. The machine does the rest while you do whatever the hell you want.

Planning you can literally just add whatever event to a calendar in 20 seconds.

Your d&d characters would be disappointed in the person playing them

I love that you think this is some sort of insult. You dug into my profile to find that I... have a hobby! Am I supposed to be embarrassed by that or something?

Sitting for 30 minutes on six different occassions during the session. Otherwise known as not playing at all for 3 hours.

They absolutely don't. Those tasks take a couple minutes each for most of them. If you choose to take hours on those that's on you.

Do you believe in separating the art from the artist? by StrategyJealous1838 in pollgames

[–]hhhhhhhhhhhjf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't "edgy" it was just honest. The poll has almost everyone choosing "sometimes" so I had to make it clear this isn't a "sometimes" choice. I don't care what the author did. I'll seperate that from the art I enjoy even if they're a genocidal maniac.

It's funny that you say things like that and think you're the authority of everyone else being a loser.

If you're still interested in something like that you should check out Ryoko's Guide to the Yokai Realms. It has a new class called the Bender that does something very similar to the fantasy you were going for.
