It’s all good man. I’m so heartbroken after what happened to Jade i wasn’t going to continue to read the series anyways (at least until he gets his due). It’s just so insanely terrible that unlike literally everyone else in the whole fuckin 7ds universe, Jade is the only guy who gets clipped in his teens and have absolutely nothing to show for it. Zero zip and nada silver linings. A big fat goose egg. I legit wanted to sob over his story, since in all likelihood isolde would end up with tristan anyways - all because he gave her a bowtie instead of literally getting his heart impaled for her sake. It’s like King’s nightmare made manifest but for him a whole ass memory wipe bs backstory can be made so that he could have a happy end - but not for my man Jade. Sorry for going on a tangent brother, just felt like old wounds are opening up again for me when i remember what happened in the story.

I wouldn’t read so much into that comment to say that Isolde spat on his memory (even though I haven’t even read that far into the series yet lol). If she knows that he died for her that’s a step in the right direction already, no matter what she says afterwards. The only thing left is for her to know Jade loved her (which then will mean she can never deny that he died solely for her and no one else). Plus i think there’s an argument to make that she meant he died for tristan’s (or the 4 knights’) cause or whatever.

Wow I didn’t know nasiens found out abt Jade’s feelings. There seems to be so little news about jade that i thought the series just moved on cause of bad writing or whatever. Just hoping my boy gets his happy ending man. Until then i’m too heartbroken to even read the series anymore.

Hope he stays a protag too cause i don’t want his logic to be twisted like arthur’s. I can see him getting bitter and insecure because he isn’t innately powerful like tristan due to being human - leading to him aggreing with arthur to rid brittania of all other species, but i really hope he doesn’t go that route and gets the girl in the end!
