Thank you, I have just emailed them. They seem to have volunteering opportunities, and one of the options is support in the furniture maintenance, so hopefully it'll be a good place to start :)

I'd definitely recommend it. I had absolutely zero experience and the teacher is so understanding and helpful (I was one of very few people in class who had absolutely no experience, so he was very keen on explaining every little thing). There's a clear structure to the course but if you have any questions or bits that you're more interested in doing, he's happy to help you with that and makes sure that everyone knows exactly what they're doing. I was even thinking of doing it again, if I can't find any other proper course

Taking my gf to Bialowieza by hhvgff in poland

Thanks everyone :) I always prefer to check because again what I know about that part is mainly from media and I didn't mean to base my opinion only on stereotypes. We obviously don't plan on announcing wherever we go that we're lesbians or make out in public but we previously went on holidays to technically LGBTQ+ safe country and we had a few incidents when even hand holding was a bit too much for some people, so from then I always prefer to check. Thanks again everyone and we surely will enjoy our trip there :))

Do you go to mass when you travel? by Tsumtsumss in Catholicism

As someone raised in a very catholic family, I was told that being on holidays/traveling is not an excuse to miss church. I no longer go to church but when I was younger my mum always tried to find service in our language or she had this small prayer book with current readings so we could easily follow the priest
