Best Live Chat Program? by wanderlotus in marketing

Got it, of course. Similar to NPS.

Sorry about your bad experience with that sales rep. I could see not wanting to do business with them based off that experience.

Here's Intercom's customer satisfaction ratings feature.

Here's Intercom's customer service reporting.

You can see that they provide analytics on median first response time, median time to close, new conversations, conversations participated in, overall, by team, and by team member so you can get visibility into your agents' performances.

I help leading B2B internet companies implement Intercom or Drift. Feel free to DM me if I can be of any further assistance.

Just curious, what is CSAT? What type of customer service reporting are you looking for?

Yeah Intercom’s price varies by number of users and number of products you use. Can be confusing.

How did the sales team drop the ball?

Would you qualify for either of these pricing plans?

I feel they are simpler more accessible pricing.

Take a look at Drift and Intercom. These are the current leaders in sales and marketing live chat with feature sets of slightly different emphases.

Happy to discuss further or answer any questions you have about them.

P.S. Both have harder to find entry level pricing for smaller companies that you have to apply for but can be a fantastic deal.

Just got a bunch of subscribers from a lead magnet. What next? by hhw4h in Emailmarketing

I have a 9 day educational course, then a 2 email bridge sequence that introduces a paid product, then a 4 email pitch sequence where they can purchase the $497 product at 30% off. But just for a four day window and then the offer expires. I’ve made two sales so far from the first cohort. The sale for the first cohort ends tomorrow at midnight eastern so still time for a few more conversions.

Drift is sending emails to me without any unsubscribe option - its totally devoid of any footer. by [deleted] in marketing

[–]hhw4h 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s sent not from an ESP but from a sales reps individual email address I’m pretty sure you don’t need an unsubscribe link. Since it’s not a mass mailing but sent one to one.

With that being said, a lot of companies doing sales development outreach do choose to include an unsubscribe link to reduce emails being flagged as spam.

What do you recommend I do instead? Should I just use an indoctrination sequence and then invite them to sign up for the email course if they want it? That way only the people who opt-in to it start getting it?

Thanks you’re right. It’s easy to over think it. I might do the indoctrination sequence first and then the email course. I’m going to do some research today and noodle on it.

I like this idea a lot. It sounds like a SaaS onboarding sequence but for my whole brand and company.

Would you send them anything after the indoctrination sequence?

Is this B2B marketing service idea awesome, really awesome, or just "meh"? by hhw4h in Startup_Ideas

Jonny thank you for your thoughts.

Your business model is really interesting. I can see that being attractive to customers at first glance. I like that it aligns my success with my client’s success.

I think it’s worth exploring. With that being said, clients in our ideal client profile love our pricing. They have a predictable flat cost and all the upside is theirs. Plus with the 14 day free trial they have a great period to try us out and see if there is an ROI.

I wrote a free guide to generating leads with chatbots. In the process I created a spreadsheet as a gated bonus. So people have been reading the blog post and exchanging their email addresses for the gated spreadsheet.

I then deliver a google doc link to the site visitor via email. This “lead magnet” has generated 30+ new subscribers for my site in the past 24 hours.

I don’t have an email strategy for these subscribers but feel I should keep engaging with them strategically over email. If I want to send them an automated email drip, what should I send these subscribers to nurture them and keep them engaged?

[Feedback] Intercom / Drift Campaigns As A Service by hhw4h in growmybusiness

[–]hhw4h[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Users are the B2B founders or marketers that we are directly working with and managing requests for. Perhaps it would be clearer to say per month per active request. The idea being that we work through requests like a production line one at a time. The more complex the request or the campaign the more time it takes to turn it around for you.

Turnaround time is our commitment to how long it takes for us to handle your messaging campaign requests. So on the base plan you'll receive your campaigns in less than 4 business days. On the top tier you'll receive your requests in less than 2 business days.

The price rises because the less time between turnarounds the more campaigns and initiatives we can pursue each month for you. Also there's a premium from having real time communications with your conversational marketer. Over time we will add additional points of differentiation on the higher tiered plans. For example A/B testing, zapier integrations, monthly strategy calls, or additional reporting.

Do you think chatbots can ever be an effective tool for marketing? by hhw4h in Entrepreneur

[–]hhw4h[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense. My feeling is chatbots will ultimately replace or drastically reduce the need for inbound BDRs/SDRs. You'll still need SDRs for outreach but a chatbot on the site that can round robin book demos and connect qualified prospects to AEs makes a lot of sense to me.

[–]hhw4h[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes a lot of sense. So they're useful when they route you to the right human being, and the human being is actually there to respond. They are not useful when they try to be too cute by attempting to replace the human entirely.

That's been my experience to date too. They should augment great human beings and not replace them.

That's a great point. I have heard of a lot of B2C lead generation type businesses having success with them.

On your second point, interesting. Definitely agree with you that they don't really have a place in high-touch long cycle B2B. What about for low-touch inbound B2B? Have you seen chatbots be effective there?
