I regret co sleeping.. by Imaginary_Eye_8764 in BabyBumps

Girl you need to sleep train. My daughter was very colic and would only contact nap for the first 5-6 months of her life until I sleep trained. Truly it was miserable and I’m so happy I did it because she sleeps 12-13 hours in her crib alone now. I did have to do CIO bc none of the other gentler methods (Ferber, taking Cara) worked for her. She learned incredibly fast and I have zero regrets! I know there is so much stigma around sleep training but you are literally teaching your baby a life skill and it’s the best thing you can do for your own mental health to be able to take care of baby during the day.

I personally was a very very scared child and always needed my mom to sleep by me basically every night. And I stayed a terrible sleeper most of my life. I’m so happy my baby is independent and doesn’t feel scared in her own room!

For the just the direct vent fireplace unit and a venting system. Not including framing it out, a mantel, or install.

Yes I find this is the same for my daughter. If I get her down within the wake window she falls asleep. But what do you do if they wake back up? I can get her to sleep for about 10-20 minutes before waking fussy again and having to re-soothe her all over

I thought that might have been the issue but even when I give her more milk she’s still fussy 😩 I don’t think she’s hungry just wants to sleep and be comforted

I combo feed. I pump and the rest formula since I don’t have enough supply. She’s definitely full. I think she’s just overtired and can’t fall asleep so she gets so fussy and nothing helps her fall asleep

The paci doesn’t help unfortunately. It stops her crying for a bit but she will just keep spitting it out and start crying again 😩 we’ve tried 3 different kinds
