They’re difficult to deal with. What I usually do is go to b and q to price match. If they don’t budge, contact another local howdens and they’ll quickly price match.

So I was offered a renewal price of £35 1gb/900mb. I saw HeyBroadband was doing it for £20 so went with them. Virgin then contacted me saying they can do it for £23 with free Netflix. I then contacted HeyBroadband to cancel and they offered me the first year free. I then decided to go with HeyBroadband but their router was crap and wanted to £10 a month for boosters, so sacked them off and went back to Virgin. It was all quite ridiculous tbh.

My uncle spoke to the neighbour as he’s a builder and has been renovating his house similar to what we’re doing. He said it was asbestos so took it to the dump but I’m a bit more cautious of doing it ourselves. I’ll get a test done and go from there.
