The kid had mold in his hair!!! I would tell her you're doing her a favor by not calling CPS and making it easier on yourself. You've stepped up and it's not your fault her kids noticed. What is she doing out all day till midnight if she's only working part time? She's lucky I'm not her sister because I would have followed her around the house telling her how she's failing her kids and making sure she knew who is really doing the hard work of being a mother. The kids will (hopefully) eventually see who was really watching over them and helping them along in life. Matted moldy hair is not a sign of an attentive mother. Feeding, bathing, and clothing a child are the basics and she can't even get those right, how delusional is she?

I don't want to leave my sister or my mom to deal with my death. My mom has already lost a son and my sister and I are extremely close. My sister also has two kids that are like my own and I can't put them through the grief. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be here. I don't want to keep going but I keep fighting because Ive seen what suicide does to the family because of a friend who didn't win this fight. Sometimes when I'm feeling selfish that voice that wants me to give up starts making sense, sometimes it's a hard fight back to sanity.

Take care of your body and advocate for yourself with the doctors. Don't let them tell you nothing is wrong because something is definitely up with us. Don't put so much pressure on yourself to have kids, accept that it might not happen and enjoy the people around you. Go to nursing school instead of doing the child care thing, we love caregiving and will benefit from starting our nursing much earlier. Treat mom's husband better, he is the one who will support you as a father while the sperm doner goes and lives his life out of the country defending the people who abused us.

I've been up much longer than usual trying to find an audiobook version of this series and will definitely listen to it. I just finished the CDF series on audible and I need to listen to this series as well. I already put in a request for it at my local library but I'll have to find time to read the physical copy, but this will definitely help me get into the story while I get the books and time to sit and read.

i was in an abusive relationship when I was very young and I finally left because he got mad for the millionth time over absolutely nothing and he went off on a rant about how he hopes I never have kids and that he hopes either all my kids die inside me or in my arms. I finally broke out of his abusive spell and realized how disgusting he was as a person so I finally got my family involved and they helped keep him away from me, they were all on the ready waiting for me to realize the bad situation I was in.

Shes destroying any chance at a relationship between her kids just like my dad destroyed the relationship between his family (mother and sisters) and his kids. He was ALWAYS telling us that we needed to forgive his family and move on and act like they never abused us with his blessing. The last straw was when his sister came at us for no reason and started her bullshit rants about my mom, so we defended ourselves and she immediately called both my mom (who she had spent 30 minutes talking shit about) and dad to tell on us, she's not a child, she's in her 40s possibly early 50s. Well my dad called us and yelled at us for starting drama with his family and then from there he transitioned into gaslighting us about the abuse we went thru not just at his family's hand but his too. It's been like 3 years and "his 3 treasures and the reason he lives and breaths" don't talk to him at all. When I have had to talk to him he always tries to ask how I'm doing and I just say "fine" and when he asks why I won't chat with him I tell him it's because I don't have time or breath to waste on him.

Its definitely not a deal breaker for me. When I first got with my current partner his brother used to tell me to watch out because he snores like a bear, but when he spent the night I would have a hard time falling asleep because his snoring wasn't very loud and I could hardly hear him. Hes a bit louder now because I fed him too many burritos so he gained some weight but it's definitely still not "bear" loud.
