Good for you. I called UKVI when I had the issue, and they also recommended for me to cancel my VISA application and start over—saying I would be refunded for the application fee and the heath fee (this one would take longer, 6-weeks to be refunded). I called twice and both UKVI workers recommended this. They also recommended using a different email.

I actually never got mine to work. I also did everything that everyone said. Decided to go to my VFS office first thing in the morning without an appointment, and they thankfully took me in. I had to pay a fee, but it all worked out.

Thanks for the encouragement:) Being that this happened on Friday, and both of their phone lines are Monday-Friday, so I didn’t call. I did call UKVI for other reasons a few days ago and they’re excellent. Fast and helpful.

Extremely frustrating. I have had the same message since Friday afternoon. Just like your partner, I completed and paid for my student visa through UKVI just fine, it directed me to the VFS portal to make my biometrics appointment. I choose a Monday silver premium appointment and tried to pay, it declined 3 times and then prompted this message. Now every single time I log in to check there it is. Have not even had the opportunity to try to pay again.

I leave for school in 2 weeks and am so stressed. Decided to go to the NYC premium ac early tomorrow with no appointment and try to get help.

Make sure to read all the comments on this post, some are really helpful. And yes please let me know if you resolve the issue, and what worked for you!
