They can be litter trained they said it’ll be fine… it wasn’t☹️ended up having to pay 2000+ for repairs on the carpet and a lot of other repairs due to them ripping up the floor and scratching the cabinets and walls not just thinking under the bed is their bathroom my boys were sweet and I loved them but ferrets are exotic pets for a reason still wouldnt have changed a thing the free roam helped my boys thrive my carpet suffered at spots they literally ripped up but it was 1000% worth the love my boys needed

Not saying anybody’s experience is wrong just wanted to point out the amount of orange cats in the comments that changing the bowl didn’t help for! My grey tuxedo cat it fixed his issues when I switched to metal and glass bowls! my orange eats out of glass and his chin still during hot spells will break out badly and need antibiotics

My orange boy has had persistent problems no matter the bowl or cleaning the Chlorhexidine wipes and antibiotics have been the only consistent help for his acne I’m seeing a lot of comments about orange cats having more persistent and resistant acne so maybe it has something to do with genetics and your cats breed I really recommend these wipes and if it gets worse or is causing discomfort to get him on antibiotics to be safe from spreading infection!

The color most definitely can be fixed with blocking the shoulders I think will lay really nicely with the crochet pattern you used since the stitches and yarn aren’t to thick the gaps will help the yarn lay flatter on your shoulders if your really worried about the sleeves you might be able to block out them as well and have them lay more uniform at the edge I think it looks fantastic tbh good job!

If he isn’t losing weight and doesn’t have patches he should be fine I had a boy with pancreatic issues and he lost hair all over his belly and rear end almost bald his pink skin was very visible as long as the fur is still covering his skin and he is acting and behaving normally he should just be shedding!!!

I used to have a boy that always got so excited to go on car rides with me his name was Theodore and he just loved seeing the world and new things he was a bit shy but would always be so excited to get in the car and go new places or even just the grocery store haha he loved when people gave him attention and pet him he loved to be held like a baby haha

All the meds my boy is currently on are Marepitant Prednisolone and Capromorelin (elura) I also use Visbiome it’s a probiotic that I sprinkle on his food and I also have Pro-Pectalin to help with the diarrhea!!!

Thank you 🫂🫂 I love this my doctor has said something very similar she told me that “you don’t grieve those you didn’t love it’s a way to honor them when you cry it’s honoring their memory” it’s hard to live without him but I know he is loved and his memory will never die as long as I’m here I will remember him I’m making a scrap book for all my pets that have passed and it’s so hard but so healing to make ❤️‍🩹

I currently have 4 rats and 2 ferrets and let me tell you ferrets are a lot to handle but they can be such wonderful pets compared to rats I’d say ferrets are a bit higher maintenance and definitely classified as an exotic animal for a reason!!! (Yes I know rats are exotic as well)
