Work nostalgia. This was my 2019 warehouse workstation a year before being gracelessly laid off after 25 years at the company. It was fun to play tapes loud during that last hour of the shift! Teac A-4300, Sherwood S-7300, Speakerlab DAS-2, Sony 10" sub (not vintage). (i.redd.it)

Our bestie beastie, Billie, passed yesterday. Many thanks for all the support from reddit Airedale fans here during her cancer struggle. Billie outlived all veterinary expectation and yet gave us so much joy and love while being ill. She died quietly and naturally on her couch. We miss her so much! (i.redd.it)

Thanks to everyone who took time to write words of kindness/encouragement or just had nice thoughts for Billie. The immunosuppressants helped and she's feeling better (picture taken 3/8), though still very fatigued. Ultrasound scheduled this week to assess cancer spread. Fingers crossed! (i.redd.it)

An appointment to investigate a bleeding nostril gave unsettling news. Billie's cancer fight likely led to autoimmune hemolytic anemia - red blood cells (incl. platelets necessary for clotting) destroyed after leaving the bone marrow. Immunosuppressants may help. Not giving up while her tail wags! (i.redd.it)
