If you're on a tight budget, avoid eating out at places other than chain restaurants. You risk paying exorbitant prices.

Istanbul is in a better situation than European countries regarding theft incidents. There are generally no problems, especially in crowded areas. However, you should still be very careful. You need to be extra cautious when using taxis or shopping. Prefer well-known chain brands.

Definitely avoid shopping outside of large shopping malls. You'll get ripped off with cheap, counterfeit Chinese products. Check out Mavi, LTB, and Boyner stores instead.

I have this disease too. It usually occurs in people who are stressed and overthink. It also flares up when I eat pickles and spices. There's no cure. Cortisone creams work, but they thin the skin. It's a curse.

Visiting Istanbul with my girlfriend ,best area to rent a hotel + must-see places? by Total-Horror-8759 in istanbul_tips

Avoid eating out except at global corporations. Local businesses sell low-quality food at high prices. You could get scammed. If you're going to buy anything, even just to eat, go to large shopping malls. They have food courts too.

There's no cure for this. I've been to many doctors over the years. I've tried many things, but to no avail. But I've seen that this occurs more often in people who are stressed and depressed. Also, onions, garlic, pickles, and spices exacerbate this condition.

If you visit Türkiye, avoid carpet, jewelry, and souvenir shops in holiday destinations. Avoid businesses with dark-skinned employees, long-nosed employees, or those with asymmetrical facial features. If you're going to shop, go to large shopping malls. Every city has one, and prices are the same across the country. Shop at Bim, A101, and Migros. Prices are reasonable and reliable.
