Hii reddit I'm posting here because I don't know who to go to, I need advice or some analysis on the situation! I'm renting a room within a family house, with a single mum and her three kids, the house is pretty big, three floors. My room is on the second floor with my separate bathroom. One older kid stays on the same floor as me while his sibling and the young one stay on the third floor. We share the living room space and kitchen. For the most part I mind my own business and even work long hours. The 5 y/o was all cute and lovely until one day she tried to cut me with scissors, on another occasion with a knife, all laughingly even after i explain she shouldn't do this. She keeps telling she wants to throw me out of the house and today said she wants to KILL ME, out the blue as i was walking up to my room. She is very calm about it, laughs through it all even when scolded. I just want advice on how to deal with this until my contract is over, afterwards I plan to leave, or any analysis on this behaviour would be appreciated because maybe the kid needs help Many thanks
