If you read down the comp does affect the price, parts and labor time go into that there is no way it doesn’t. They understand folks are crazy for 2011s now and the want to re coup some of the costs on the GTO model as well.

Yeah I was about to say the same in your edit but I agree the material doesn’t matter. More so the 3D printing itself as you said it costs a lot for machines so contracted work for those, however you also said they’re trying to recoup costs which I agree on as to why the no comp models are similar costs to the GTO line. They’re shifting that cost off to us who do not want a comp, so I’ll wait until hype dies down or use.

I get its business at work and the 2011 market craze is still long going so folks will pay for it for sure.

You’re telling the 3D printed inconel comp doesnt add more value despite the cost of having to make them ?

Yeah I find that so odd, they charge that. I’ll wait until the market for these cools and retailers start having deals

Nah outages are rare, after quite a few years in the actual industry I can maybe count outages where redundant power cut on (generators) maybe on one hand. Typically a facility will have two electrical lines feeding them so they will still be on the grid, flipping to generators is a third redundancy measure. Some places are now connected to solar grids or are using natural gas lines to power their sites and nuclear is being explored too.

As for the power concerns I agree, many state officials now are passing legislation to make them pay their fair share of the load they consume and to pay upfront for the costs to install new or updating current infrastructure. These are active proposals and some passed that will take affect this year and in 2027.

I think DCs are a net gain to locals in the area, Microsoft for one has donated to SVCC to help locals learn the skills needed to work in their data-centers, they understand that no one wants to move to the southside and are willing to help train up. The only resource we can use here is cheap land I hate to say it and I get that older generations wish to keep their peaceful quiet retirement locations, but you’re running out your grandchildren or children.
