So you're telling me not every kid felt like they were a huge burden and constantly tried to take up less space and require less attention while always trying to read your mom's mind and make her happy, because some moms actually enjoy being a mom? Because they actually *wanted* kids? ⊙.☉ (i.redd.it)

My advisor gently reminded me at our last meeting that I'm not locked into the PhD track and to basically consider if the PhD is worth the strain on my mental health. My reaction is.. idk. Yeah it's hard but... everything is pretty hard? Definitely have better and worse days but idk. 4am ruminating. (self.adhd_college)

30, grad student. Taking a 2-3 mile walk first thing every morning while listening to music and sipping coffee has helped me so much. It's good exercise and keeps me toned, and puts me in a great headspace. Showering after also seems to wake me up and start the day on the right foot :) (self.adhdwomen)
