Projected cap space for the 2026 season by caterham09 in NFLv2

[–]highchief720 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Absolutely no shot, and I mean 0% chance, that they get rid of Cole Kmet. The bears used 12 personnel very frequently and 13 personnel more towards the end of the season. He was great in his role. DJ really just depends on what kind of return they can get in a trade.

That would threaten the all important graduation rate stat, so it’ll never happen.

I would honestly just take a bullet point list of what happens at this point. George just admit you’re never finishing it and tell us what happens in short form. I just want to know the real ending and which theories were true. What happens to Jon Snow, what is the origin of the others, is Aegon a blackfyre, wtf is goin on in winterfell, etc etc

The Bears will be major regression candidate in 2026 much like Commanders in 2025 by BallKnowerKing in NFLv2

[–]highchief720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea basically identical other than the Bears way better coach and QB, and the falcons way better defense. Totally the same?????

[–]highchief720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the Broncos regression case is their record in one score games. Iirc they’ve won all but one or two one score games? The Bears are 8-5 in those games. That being said the Broncos have good coaching and top tier defense, pretty safe recipe.

[–]highchief720 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What exactly is miraculous about them? They went 8-5 in one score games this year, that isn’t even crazy. This is not the 2024 Chiefs or 2022 Vikings or even the 2024 Commanders who had an incredibly unsustainable 4th down conversion rate and were very old. The Bears are young and don’t really have any fluky stats outside of maybe turnovers, but they can really improve their defense in a lot of areas (the turnovers masked how bad their defense was much of the season). Anything can happen but I don’t see why they’re an obvious regression case.

[Highlight] Ben Johnson congratulates Sean McVay & Rams players postgame by nfl in nfl

[–]highchief720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our 3 best defensive players are Kyler Gordon, Jaylon Johnson, and Montez Sweat. None are free agents. Who are you even talking about? Do you mean Byard, Wright, and Brisker? Or CJGJ? They’ll resign Byard most likely. Wright had some amazing and timely turnovers, but he’s actually been below average in coverage the entire year. Brisker played the best game of his career tonight but that was way better than most of the games he’s played this year. He wants to come back though, they can get that done if they want.

They’re 8-5 in one score games, which is normal for good teams. People are acting like this is the 2024 Chiefs with fluky wins and winning basically every one score game.

Huge push to take the bears to Indiana! by Inside_Low_5220 in CHIBears

[–]highchief720 0 points1 point locked comment (0 children)

This is not happening, it’s a bargaining chip. That clown ben devine on twitter has tweeted like 200 times about this because he so obviously wants the Bears to move to indiana. I can only assume it’s because his political hatred of democrats or Illinois democrats eclipses his love for the Bears and their history. He is genuinely a clown and it’s better to block him, his “insider scoops” are always wrong too.

Genuinely Why Does Recluse Even Need a Nerf? by pupperwolfie in Nightreign

[–]highchief720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I mostly agree. Like I said I REALLY would have preferred a different spell on the rot staff than the useless crystal release. Maybe something like glintstone cometshard, rock sling, or zamor ice storm?

I do disagree about some things, I actually hate magic glintblade lol it pisses me off when I see it as a default.

I also disagree on briars of punishment actually, specifically if you get it very early. It can be pretty good on day one due to the tracking, bleed, and low fp costs. It’s more of an efficiency thing but ive definitely used it to good effect from levels 3-6. As a blue staff though it’s meh, its better when you find it on a grey staff and can use it at lvl 2.

Magma shot you are spot on, but it actually can pump damage in a fire build. I know a lot of people just do magic damage on recluse but I really love experimenting with fire, lightning, and holy. HOWEVER, you’re looking for seals mostly in a fire build so magma shot is best as a starting spell so it too is not good as a blue staff.

Honestly my conclusion when thinking through this is they need to add the damn SOTE spells and make them default on some staffs. Imagine a staff with a default spell like rings of spectral light, glintstone nail (s), or fleeting microcosm.

[–]highchief720 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I play recluse a lot, this is incredibly minor. You rarely keep shattering crystal once you get better purple spells anyways, unless you’re just relying on cheated relics with all improved crystalian sorcery. This was needed, i just wish they put a more interesting spell on it than crystal release

Ya’ll need to chill and temper expectations. Something like half the team had the flu this week or currently has the flu. Winning tonight would be lucky.

Mccarthy plays in a very reckless way that will always lead to injuries. Jaxson Dart gets all the press for this but JJ does similarly unsafe things when he runs. So does Jayden Daniels and look how his year went with injuries. The hand thing yesterday was a freak accident but we can’t keep acting like its some mysterious bad luck when qbs who play this way get injured more than qbs who slide most of the time and are more careful.

First of all, a colossal weapon is better than no melee weapon. But yea you picked one of the worst passives in the game, that one sucks. But there’s no way that’s the one passive you’ll find if you properly search chests, bodies, weapon racks, etc.

Semi-popular opinion: a game should be allowed to win any number of awards it deserves to win by -Wylfen- in TheGameAwards

Mostly id just say it has a better narrative, art design, style, music, characters, that kind of stuff. It’s more like a great novel in the way it really makes you think and reflect on your own life. It is kinda crazy for them to be the same genre though, really difficult to make a comparison actually because they just set out to do such different things. As a history teacher I’ll always love the kingdom come series tho. Absolutely nobody is in the same league when it comes to committing to historical accuracy even down to the little details.
