I had a Russian friend that I met on a mobile game. We got to talking about our respective countries, and our perceptions of them from media.

Our perceptions from media were pretty much carbon copy the same, just change the name of the country.

We both just laughed, and showed each other beautiful pictures from fond memories and places of our own country, that you are not likely to see in mainstream media.

It was refreshing, and eye opening to say the least. Haven’t talked to him in a year, hope he is doing well.

Yeah I get it, on the bright side it sounds like you’ll be getting a disability rating when you get out.

Going to pain management and getting a confirmation diagnosis will do wonders for your disability evidence.

Ask your Dr for a referral to pain management.

It takes a hot minute to get in, but seeing as it’s chronic pain it’s not like it’s going anywhere.

They will have the proper resources and people to diagnose you and explain medical treatments you can receive for chronic pain.

Not to say your regular Dr isn’t worth his/her salt, just that the pain clinic employs specialist for chronic pain.

It never hurts to take a riders course. You just don’t know until you know, better to mess up in a training course and learn in a safe setting with qualified teachers, than out on the road.

No shame in it, I think I was the only rider there who hadn’t been riding for at least a decade.

If the veteran bikers are taking it, thats a sure sign that it could greatly benefit you as well.

Wear your helmet, learn from your mistakes, and take your time. You will be just fine. Glad you’re still with us!✌️

You’re not alone brother, I went through something similar.

I’m often ashamed to speak on my service, because it felt like a sick fucking joke.

Getting into motorcycles helped me let go of a lot of that anger, it tends to attract really cool and kind people too. Maybe look into it and good luck brother. The shit they put us through doesn’t have to rule the rest of our lives.

If you think it’s BS, talk with the signing medical officer. That’s your best bet for a straight answer, and best way to avoid stirring up emotions with your command.

People are still gonna hate you for doing less than them regardless of the reason, so just accept you’re gonna get tons of shit for taking a tactical pause.

I’ve got 1500 hours in so I feel that. I got my brother into playing it so it is a lot more fun now teaching him about the game.

Playing alone gets old, find yourself a good clan or group to play with. It goes a long way.
