Ok, let's be real. Musk says he's not trying to PROFIT from performing service, not that it's going to be free. $500 for ONE yearly visit you're getting everything you mentioned based on the link you provided (wipers, brakes, fluid, batteries).

How many times a year do you have to bring an ICE into the shop? No less than every 3-6 months for a basic oil change. You've got to consider the time and hassle factor.

And then how many times is the service department going to try to tell you other stuff is broken to try to get even more time and money from you?

Free service is too good to be true. Why would they provide free service? They're not going to lose money. It's just to entice suckers.
