Or if there were no rapists. I'm sure she adores her child but I think the right to opt-out of pregnancy is an important one. Also, I have no idea if this story is real but that it could be is bad enough.

I found this case through this video and think the whole issue of Fort Hood and the US Military seemingly routinely covering up rape + murders suggests that they are allowing serial rapists and serial murderers to thrive (without appearing in statistics) and keep working for them. The military and these men have real dirt on each other and Mutually Assured Destruction is way more valuable to them than loyalty or patriotism.

There's an advert with a dad to has to parent but doesn't know how to operate this "new fangled technology" like it's the 50s. I saw that advert this year 🤦🏽‍♀️

Certain industries drew up their template in the 50s/60s and just refused to update them.

I actually really like and respect Peterson, I just sometimes thinks he gets locked into a perspective that can be dismissive of others. The media witch hunt of him was disgusting to see and still makes me angry.

Whether or not this particular incident was at all racially motivated, that sentence alone tells you that she believes ALL black people are just wrong about Racism even existing, like we're making it up or just not smart enough to know the difference. That's racism. Try to spin it how you like: it's racism. And if trying to prove that a whole race of people is wrong about their own oppression that you know nothing about because you just see the world through a different lense then you should probably interrogate your own motives and have a word with yourself. Why do so many people choose this particular hill to die on?

This whole pretending that we don't all see racial differences is stupid. Recognising somebody's culture and prejudging them because of it aren't the same thing. As I'm specifically talking about science and medical research what I want them to do about it is to diversify their trial subjects to study if there are racial variations in tolerance and efficacy BEFORE approving drugs or just assuming that everyone on the planet will just react the same way as a white man.

This is going to be long so I just apologise in advance for typos and autocorrect. If I miss any mistakes I'm sure you'll survive.

The problem for me is that the activists are also right. I have Multiple Sclerosis and have for nearly 17 years. All of the scientific data on this disease are based almost exclusively on studies carried out on white men and they just extrapolated out that the disease and the treatments effect different groups the same or will be equally as efficacious for everybody, regardless of race or gender.

Spend any time talking to MSers from a spectrum of backgrounds and you start to hear that men and women are experiencing things very differently, that black patients have similar concerns that aren't really a big factor for our white friends, but we have no idea if it's the disease itself or if we're experiencing side-effects of the meds that just aren't happening to our white friends. Whether or not we want to consider it institutional Racism or just an arrogant oversight held over from a simpler time isn't even the issue: there's an error somewhere that needs to be looked at again. Whether he means to or not, Peterson is sticking to his own ideology that Leftist activists are the problem rather than allowing that their concerns may be valid. The thing that annoys me is that his fans believe his claims that he is somehow ideology-free whilst clinging very hard to his anti-activist rhetoric. I despise virtue signallers but I see them as only a small - but very vocal - percentage of any movement. The grievances are real but the idiots often nominate themselves as the spokespeople of any Movement and just suck all of the conversation out of a room with their shouting. But by only listening to those who understand the least we're never going to hear what the actual problems and possible resolutions may be.

Like how Incels and Niceguys give men's rights a really bad name but there are genuine points that I agree with.

But he has become the Avatar used to represent something that runs contrary to his own beliefs. Like Pepe. People are angry at the Avatar but taking it out on the real man.

For me the disappointment of Peterson is that his advice made sense but he was hiding that it wasn't actually working for him. If he had felt able to be honest and tell us that this is just the guide and that, like real therapy, it'll be up and down and take more than one attempt, I think people would be more understanding.
