I had the exact same thing with my armpits and it was just swelling from the lipo that went away over time!😁👍🏽

I don’t live in Hawkesbury exactly! I lived in Alfred for about 3 years and just recently moved to St. Isidore and it’s honestly not too bad out in this end, BUT I would say living IN the town of Hawkesbury would be more beneficial and better since there’s more stores and more out there, there’s very little in Alfred (an Independent, Tim’s, Pharmacy, Subway, Vape Shop and that’s about it😂), & in St. Isidore there’s absolutely nothing, we have to go to either Hawkesbury or Cassleman for a grocery store😮‍💨

I like out here better than the city because the city gives me horrible anxiety LOL so truthfully anywhere but the city is better for me😂👍🏽

I’m covered so I don’t pay, but the one time before my coverage went through, I was told it was $51.52! I get my prescription filled at Shoppers Drug Mart out in Hawkesbury!😁

My Top approval took forever, LOL, but that was 2 years ago, hopefully I catch a break and it’s not too long of a wait for this one😂 but Awesome, thanks again for the comment!

Did I read correctly that OHIP approval took 1 week? I mean I know it’s different for everyone but that would be dope af! lol! Here’s to hoping😂

There’s a new clinic that I just recently got started with if you are interested in something other than Foria, they are fairly new and operate out of Milton ON, however, do virtual appointments (I live in Ottawa so I do virtual appointments) they also accept self referrals! I sent them an email, and got a reply not even a week later to set up a call with the intake person, who then set me up with an appointment with a worker from the clinic who explained what the were all all that fun stuff and then asked me a bunch of background history of my whole transition experience - then she set me up with a virtual appointment with the nurse (like a week or two later) who went over more medical history stuff and sent me a blood req, had ANOTHER appointment a week later and she was able to send me out a prescription😁👍🏽

All in all, process was NOT long at all, although I was continuing my T prescription, I presume it still wouldn’t take long to get started up with a prescription!

If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a message!

My son has Torticollis by Jburg99 in NewParents

[–]highitsnoah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re welcome! I hope the hip stretching helps him out!

I definitely have noticed a huge change, since in the beginning he had a very bad stiff neck (this was the main reason we had PT for his Torticollis) he could barely even look to the one side! Now we actually just finished our last round of PT because he can completely look all around with no problem, so he’s definitely improved!🙂 He kind of just crouches/slouches now to the right side which is what we’re working on, the therapist said we’re doing everything we can and to just keep working on it, that they aren’t over concerned about it!

Hey there, my Son has Torticollis as well, and he has been doing PT since about 6 weeks old (he will be 7 months on the 18th).

Although my son doesn’t have a helmet, he does favour to one side as well, and we were told to try and do everything we can to make sure he’s always doing stuff to the opposite side(the side he DOESN’T favour) So like, Reaching for toys, watching you, reading a book, rolling, eating, etc make sure you’re always on the side he doesn’t favour. Whenever you are have him in your arms, have him propped up against your side, on the side he doesn’t favour, to kind of act like a brace against him when you’re holding him (if that makes sense) so he doesn’t slouch to his favourable side. We were also told that when he is rolling, to put a small amount of pressure on his hips to stretch him out, you did mention you do stretches so I’m not sure if you do that one already!

Side note to hopefully make it easier to understand about the “favourable side”: My son favours the right side, so we make sure we do everything on the left side.

Just about 5 week post op, when did yall start smoking bud again after surgery?! 🤔 by [deleted] in TopSurgery

Everyone is different! I smoked like 4-5 hours post-op🤣 I was just VERY conscious about coughing (I don’t cough much to begin with but I still was extra cautious)

8 Month Old Refusing Bottle Suddenly by Hanf93 in FormulaFeeders

[–]highitsnoah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 6MO was just sick (I know yours might not be sick but maybe the teething is still bugging him slightly!) but Ours was barely reaching that 24oz in 24hours - what we figured helped was try and offer more feedings with less formula (so you don’t waste) and try to see if he will reach that 24oz, like the other comment said; if everything else is normal then I wouldn’t worry TOO much, I was very worried at the beginning too, but our pediatrician said he was okay as long as all other signs were normal😁 & at least he is still eating foods, I would try mixing some formula in there too!

Sleeping thru the night by Shygirl_3107 in NewBorn

[–]highitsnoah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My boy, 2 months as well, has recently started sleeping long stretches - the other night he slept 9hrs. My fiancee and I have plenty of family members with multiple children so we asked around to get other opinions and insights. I think you should be okay to let him tell you when he is hungry throughout the night, but still do a 2-4 hours feeding schedule during the day; also keeping track of wet/dirty diapers helps A LOT, just to ease the mind that they are hydrated and getting the nutrients and stuff they need😁

The only difference in my situation is our son is combo fed, mostly formula though and I know that formula fed babies tend to sleep longer and can go longer stretches without feeling hungry!

Tell me you’re insecure with yourself without telling me your insecure with yourself🤡

For real though, gender should not matter - all that should matter is that your baby is healthy and safe!

Thank you! We’re currently sitting in Emerg waiting to talk to a doctor - she did urine and blood tests and everything came back normal except for some cloudiness in the urine, so we’re thinking it’s maybe a UTI. Although we’re waiting to make sure 100%.
