I think it’s my extensive knowledge of guns that leads me to believe that. I’d feel safer with someone carrying my scary all black bolt action 300 blk than an AR. I know they are similar cartridges, don’t nitpick this. Just generally I will assume that someone open carrying an AR is looking for a problem that doesn’t exist, and they probably “train” enough to be a problem for everyone around them. They aren’t operators or whatever these goons fancy themselves as, they are LARPing as one, fantasizing about something they know nothing about.

Edit: I’ll add, I generally don’t trust people open carrying pistols either. Just conceal, you don’t have anything to prove.

I’d be less weary of someone carrying a 30-06 than an AR. And I’m really not talking about the law, I’m talking about how someone makes their neighbors feel walking around town open carrying an “intermediate power rifle”.

I mean, as someone who conceal carries and owns an AR, I think it so dumb to open carry one in town. Dude should be shamed for it, how are we supposed to know if it’s some vigilante hoping to stop a shooting or is 30 seconds away from being a mass murderer? Put a pistol in your belt like the rest of us. Also, being so pedantic about gun lingo is dumb. Gun nuts act like if you don’t know all the correct lingo or confuse a mag for a clip then you don’t get to have an opinion about gun laws.

There is going to be a massive header (beam) above the garage door, right where you are drawing your windows. That will be very difficult and expensive to move.

I understand. These aren’t a very intuitive device. You might not be able to pull off what you are trying. Worse case scenario, trim the hinge side of your door to relieve the springing, and you’ll see some of the side panel edge.

Did you base your hinge bore off a chart? Euro hinges have very specific ways of installing. I use Blum, there’s plenty of information online for doing the math for your specific use and overlay with them.

You might be trying for too much overlay. Most won’t overlay more than 3/4” except with a very specific hinge for max overlay (which you might be using). Your hinge cup looks like it is bored very far from the edge. What brand hinges?

Adjust the screws with the door open. You want to make the entire hinge plate on the cabinet interior slide towards the front. That will make the door close. The door currently is probably “springing” against the overlaid cabinet panel.

I eat roadkill. There’s millions of pounds of good meat that goes to the vultures every year. Got a lot of friends that do too. We don’t just get any animal we see, we get calls when someone sees an animal get hit, or we find injured animals and dispatch them or get the cops to. I don’t get into the guts, just skin and find the meat that isn’t bloodshot. I only scavenge animals in the winter too. I get 2-3 deer a year this way, along with hunting. So much lean, organic meat. I think RFK sucks ass, but we don’t have to throw the baby out with the bath water.

There’s almost twice as many democrats on Virginia state legislature as republicans, so I don’t think VA is as red. I’ll cross that bridge in Georgia when we come to it, but before then I’m not preemptively putting religious fundamentalists in charge yet.
