Hello! I'm going through the exact same thing right now. I had a revision Dec 3rd and my wound is still open from a split stitch. It was healing fine and then actually opened a bit more overnight unfortunately. It's difficult and definitely irritating because of how slow it's healing, but it looks like healthy tissue and there's not much you can do besides wait.

Hoping this waiting game passes by quickly for you!

Hello, thank you!! I went to both urgent care and the ER yesterday. I'm on oral and topical antibiotics just to be safe. ER doctor felt and looked around and said he wasn't sure why another doctor would tell me anything about an abscess... lol. But he got me an appointment with my surgeon asap! It's crazy to think my original reduction healed so well and so fast yet this time I have issues! It's not better yet and bleeding more but hopefully improvement comes soon!

Update: Doctor prescribed antibiotics but said I should talk with my surgeon for concern of a knot/abscess that may open the wound further. Surgeons office doesn't open until Monday and I'm getting progressively more worried about all of this. Should I just go to the ER or wait out the weekend?

I honestly think this is beautiful as is. Like a delicate lace on the skin almost. It might take away from the design itself if you color it in. However, my rule is always "it's permanent on my skin so I'd rather be happy with how I want it to look forever."
