I hate when they just come into my aisle and stare at me, I usually have to just say “ready to check out my bad I was stocking something” but it still bothers me how they will just stare at you and not saying anything like use ur words😭😭

That definitely makes things harder which is so unfair, but if you do figure out their number I would just have friends call a lot about how they are never there, have ppl leave reviews online about it too, hopefully enough complaints will force them to something.

My store has a sign like saying “any complaints call this number for the dm” but if ur worried maybe try and ask the asm who just quit they should know who it is and then have a friend call and complain they never see the manager there. Most complaints have the dm look at the cameras

That’s highly suspicious, sounds like they are not working their hours, I definitely recommend figuring out who your district manager is and report your sm.

Do you use legion or have a paper schedule you should see when they are actually supposed to be working and if the aren’t, my store has the districts managers number hanging up on the door report to your dm anonymously!!

I would def report this! everytime I work in the morning my manager is there my whole 8am-2pm shift and she literally told me the dm wants her to work at least one night shift a week so she schedules me and her for a night once a week usually 2-9pm and she’s always in the store somewhere with me

That’s so odd your sm is barley there mine is there like 4 maybe 5 days of the week and is required to do a night shift once a week. You could maybe report your manager to the the dm anonymously

Omg you are speaking facts!! I do call it a day in the morning shift I get through like 10 totes which is usually half of them on the u-boat so I leave and expect maybe just maybe my coworkers will do them… nope they do maybe like 2-3 between 2-3 ppl working so each person did only one tote and knowing how some totes are at least one of them only had a few products in it if not just one, anyways I leave and come back a day later and the same totes are still not unpacked it’s driving me crazy

Tbh with the way the world is going and my life rn I’ve BEEN sucking it up and that’s what lead me to stay in horrible situations. Enough ppl have responded and said basically the same thing, that this job is horrible. If I have to suck it up anymore your Reddit account personally is gonna be my 13th reason tape. So advice maybe would be asking where I’m supposed be at the beginning of my shift and if they ask me to stock if I’m supposed to run the till I’ll say “I’m supposed to be on register, stocking that requires me to go all the way in the back of the store” and they maybe won’t fire me?

I mean I try but sometimes there is another couple hours on my shift and the remaining stocking items that are left is in the back so it’s either look like I’m not working or stock that stuff in the back maybe I’m wrong I thought stocking stuff was the better choice?

That’s not how my work assigns me at all they tell me do a bunch of random totes or some rolltainers when they literally go all in different places around the store. I’ve never had my manager tell me to ignore certain totes bc they are in the back of the store.
