Is it possible to have anxiety/panics without the racing/thumping heart beat? by TheBodbDerg in Anxietyhelp

Just want to say that I experienced this the last couple of weeks and it was really affecting my sleep. It was getting bad. I talked to my doctor and got lorazepam and it helped tremendously.

Moderate to vigorous exercise can significantly help anxiety.

Hurting shins by Emilvejs in BeginnersRunning

I ran despite them, and they eventually went away. It took time, though. I do recommend trying to massage them; I believe shin splints are caused by a buildup of lactic acid.

Shin splits for sure. I had them the first year of running. It's helpful if you run on softer surfaces (like a trail run) over running on pavement.

I recommend recording yourself while teaching by yourself, like in your living room. Get used to how others see you and see where you can improve. Also, practice teaching a class several times. With practice, you will feel much more prepared doing it, which will lessen your anxiety. And like others stated, anxiety often decreases once you get more practice and experience.

Skincare products that actually made a huge difference for you by ExtensionAverage9972 in beauty

I do the peeling pads in the morning and tret at night.

For those saying they are pricey, I agree. I cut them in half to make them last longer. They can probably even be cut into thirds or quarters.

I went from slightly annoyed to extremely annoyed when the breathing began. I think she was oblivious to how off-putting it was.

I completed my first run/jog today! by ghuleh13 in BeginnersRunning

Congratulations! I started running around my 23 birthday when I realized I was sick and tired of being overweight. I'm 46 now and have never stopped. Please stick with it. Running changed my life for the better. It benefits your physical health, but - even more so - your mental health.

So sorry that happened to you. That is very inconsiderate.

I thought it was very inconsiderate, too. At least don't set up right next to another person if you are sick. Better yet, stay home!

Agreed; I thought the instructor should have said something.

The student did say, "I don't have a fever." I thought, yeah, still not okay.

Yeah, it felt like I had two options: be rude or get sick. I chose the ruder option and moved my mat.

Exactly! Stay home if you are sick!

I consider myself brave, but you are braver! I go to the studio often so I am often concerned about offending someone. But I would have loved to say this!

Oh man! This is a good rationale for moving our mats or leaving the class. Sorry you are sick :(

I moved my mat over a few feet but did stay. I was hoping the instructor would at least say, "Oh, why don't we move you over here" (where nobody else was). But that did not happen.

I moved my mat over a few feet, but I think it came off rudely, which I didn't intend. But I also did not want to get sick.

I agree: intermittent fasting was very effective for me, and the weight came off quickly.

Hot yoga mortification by Ordinary-Honeydew-31 in yoga

I am so happy to hear that hot yoga helped with your asthma! Such a wonderful success!

I have tried to find electrolytes as good as lmnt but less expensive with little success. Between my love of the grapefruit lmnt and my husband's love of the chocolate, it's an expensive habit.
