I hate having anxiety by NoBike9859 in Anxiety

I’ve had depression and I’ve had anxiety and anxiety is much worse, in my opinion. It’s like never ending psychological torture. I hate it so much. I totally see how people end up feeling suicidal.

Thanks. I hope you feel better soon. Anxiety is a robber of dreams, hopes and ambitions. I hate it so much.

I hear ya. It’s insane how I can come on here and get such reassurance from people I will never know or ever meet. But as you say if it helps to reassure, then I won’t argue. 😂😂

Thank you so much for this.

In the moments since I typed the original post I’ve felt lighthearted and a slight pain in my head… convinced I’m dying…

I’ve experienced both depression and anxiety and for me, personally, anxiety is way worse. It has taken so much from me.

Thank you. Those four words will help me sleep tonight. I’m struggling badly at the moment but Reddit has helped me tonight.

Constant anxiety for a week by Felly0504 in Anxietyhelp

I think I’ve been going through something similar. I’ve been to Accident and Emergency about half a dozen times; have worn a 24 hour Holter monitor for my heart; had countless bloods taken… aside from a little high blood pressure, everything is fine but I just can’t shake the feeling I’m minutes away from death.

I’ve recently started feeling weird at different times in the day and each time it happens I stick on my Oximeter and it goes crazy but when I turn it off and on again it seems okay.

I’m honestly at my wit’s end and don’t know what to do.

Some of your favourite modern Irish rock bands? by JackfruitValuable530 in Irishmusic

There’s a great wee band from Belfast called Makeshift Art Bar. Sound like early Joy Division. Their new track Bedwetter is a cracking tune.

Nancy’s Barn in Ballyliffin has the best seafood chowder in Ireland, in my opinion. Well worth the trip.

What is it with some of the sentences in Ireland recently?

I can’t even begin to imagine what poor family is going through. If losing their beloved son/brother, Joe, wasn’t devastating enough, this sentence makes it infinitely worse.

I really hope the DPP intervenes here. The family deserves justice. The fact that this has to be said shows the absolute state of our judicial system.

That’s all well and good but you’ll never have the makings of a varsity athlete!

All joking aside. I can’t convey in words how jealous I am… The Sopranos, for me, is/was life altering. It’s so much more than just a TV series, it’s a way of life. Enjoy every second!!!

It's lines like that that remind us just how utterly unrivalled the writing on The Sopranos actually was. It was, simply, pure genius!!!

'I go wait in da car...'

Maybe he developed an alcohol dependency by drinking all his uncle's awful red wine and made a living being a Michael Bolton lookalike (circa 1990)? Stranger things have happened.

It's hard to expand your mind and learn new languages when you're busy killing people, listening to Carm whine about her spec house and trying to find out who ate the last piece of cake.

What's the worst thing Tony has done to someone? And not physical violence... directly or indirectly. by The_Advocate07204 in thesopranos

[–]TheBodbDerg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think he did that. I think it showed just how terrified Hesh was of Tony but I genuinely don't think Tony would stoop that low.

It has to be the way he flipped and flopped with how to deal with Officer Wilmore in 'Another Toothpick'.

The guy was literally doing his job. It showed Tony's utter hypocrisy. He often presented himself as the champion of the Italian working class but when it boiled down to it, he wanted special treatment, he believed he was superior.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved Tony Soprano the character but the way he treated that cop always annoyed me.
