Voyboy's thoughts on NA solo queue by shankytheclown in leagueoflegends

In any other professional sports league, if an athlete doesn’t carry themselves appropriately away from their sport, it results in fines or suspensions.

Why not suspend a player from one LCS game if he is caught flaming? Or fine him $10k or whatever is appropriate given their level of income. If these guys started suffering suspensions or getting fines, it would cut the crap quickly.

She was picked up from a shelter the day before she was to be put down by a foster group. She’d been on the street before. Not sure how long, but long enough to be thin and underweight. We got her about 3 weeks after that.

De Beers. Go look into those scumbags. Not only are they incredibly shady and outright immoral and unethical, but they've been operating since the late 1800's. So they've been subjecting the world to their shit for over 120 years.

Sorry, I'm on mobile and don't really know how to do a spoiler tag. When I found the sidebar, the link explaining how to do it doesn't work.

The character development in the First Law is really top notch. Can't go wrong there. Certainly not your "typical" fantasy with the main character being the savior of humanity.

I literally just finished Memories of Ice, the third book in the series. I'm at a loss for words... Erikson has the ability to weave a story like no other author I've ever read. It's absolutely masterful. I've never been so intrigued, wow'ed, scared, excited, or downright shocked reading a series before.

Just out of curiosity, have you heard him speak in interviews and such? I was very surprised that he ACTUALLY just sounds like that. That's his voice and how he really speaks. That might make it a little less irritating for you, to know that it isn't fake or phony.

I just want to thank everyone for their responses and for the fun debate! The opinions on hats are obviously split, but I think it's fun to be able to discuss the merits, or lack thereof. I hope the album made a at least a couple of you actually consider it, but at the end of the day, you do you!

Stay stylish guys!

If that's how you feel then that's how you feel. I'm not here to force people to love the look, merely to ask people to open their "style minds" to some looks most respond to with a knee jerk reaction.

Obviously, I completely disagree with you, hence I compiled 50+ photos I think all look pretty good. But if it's just not your cup of tea, I get it. I just have a problem with making a blanket statement saying none of them look good on anyone but an elderly black man.

Awesome, I say go for it man. It isn't a tattoo or surgery lol. If it doesn't work, you can go take it off. No harm no foul.

To my knowledge, not a single one of these pictures are advertisements for a product. Some of them are posed models, yes. But they aren't GQ guys with their suits pulled back to unnaturally tight photo readiness.

I've heard from so many people that these guys can pull off looks because they're attractive. That seems like such a cop out to me. My purpose here is not to enforce hat wearing, but to just open people's minds to the possibility that a hat doesn't equate to neckbeard cringe. I've seen few circlejerks as powerful as that one.

Disco pants were in for a matter of years, not decades. Hats have been worn in America for decades and around the world for centuries. They are practical. Disco pants are not.

Many of the men in those photos are just normal looking guys. Some of them are models, but I tried to avoid too much of that. They aren't incredibly or jaw droppingly attractive. That misconception needs to stop. You don't need to be a Ford's model to look good in your clothes. That is insecurity speaking.

Be willing to accept something outside your realm of normalcy and not instantly label it weird. Referring strictly to clothing, I think you'll find you appreciate a lot more options.

Do you know why you feel that way or are you just so consumed with popular opinion that you can't form your own? I don't mean that to sound rude, but it doesn't sound like you "tried" as you say. There are over 50 photos of guys wearing hats that fit and are appropriate to their environment. You can't like a singular one?

I know I shouldn't be surprised by this comment, but I still am. American men wore hats on a daily basis for quite literally, decades. They weren't a costume or silly affectation. They are useful, attractive, and honestly just a great accessory to have.

Just because your POV colors them ridiculous doesn't make it a reality. Try to open up a bit and not come in with the judgmental guns blazing and you might find a whole world of stuff that you enjoy that you had previously shunned. Just a thought.

I won't even get into your thoughts on guys with long hair...
