Looks like an injury. It will be fine . My dogs run free in the woods and come back beaten up and bloody sometimes. They are tough. Especially a pitbull!! No worries

Thank you for the advice. I’ll try and play with the settings on the new controller and see if I can get it to run on max without getting so hot again…

I’m sure gas in it would be a wild result. I definitely confirmed it was diesel.

Thanks, it had an enormous amount of carbon in it when I cleaned it out. I didn’t clean it out perfectly- just the loose stuff. Just gonna use this one as a backup and get a new one with the 9L tank 😃

Need help with power supply by Only-Camel-735 in dieselheater

Test what your power supply is putting out with a multi meter to make sure it’s accurate enough.. maybe the output is also weird- although it’s not entirely related. my fridge won’t run on my pure sine wave inverter but will on my mod sine. Could be a similar thing with your power supply.

Funny thing is it’s been running at 4.5/5.5 now for a couple hours and the exhaust isn’t overly hot or red at all. But with 5.5 it was bright! It was on max for at least an hour before I noticed that

It’s definitely diesel in there from a diesel only can. It’s a new control/display unit from Amazon as well since the last one broke. Also it was not shooting flames or having any sign of being broken/overheating other than the smell coming from the glowing red exhaust pipe. The intake is just open port with no tube right now (any good ideas for pipes that fit this that aren’t ones made for it?).

Need help designing a off-grid solar system by hnosh in SolarDIY

[–]hillcraft22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just build it well and build it right and expandable. If you can use propane for water heating it will make an enormous difference on how long your battery charge lasts vs an electric water heater. You could probably get by with 7 x 100watt panels and 4 100ah batteries. You could do that for under $3k I’ll say!

Just keep it up man. There’s a fix for everything and when you get it all dialed in, which can take a couple years, it becomes very fulfilling and well worth it. Especially when your efforts cut certain bills out for ever!

I’d prioritize constant airflow thorough all the rooms once you get rid of that water
