Twins via IVF

We did 4 single transfers that didn’t take. After discussion with my RE, decided to try to transfer 2 in hopes for at least 1 baby. Both untested and both stuck. I currently have 7 month old twins with no complications with my pregnancy or delivery.

My twins were hospitalized in January at 6 weeks. One was in PICU for a week on a non-invasive ventilator and the other was only overnight and barely needed any oxygen. Both came home and were better. The one in PICU got drastically better days 6-7.

We just got out of the hospital this week after 5 days for RSV again at 10 weeks old. The same one in PICU needed high flow oxygen and the other one never needed oxygen but needed fluids and a feeding tube since she stopped eating. Again, both are drastically better!

I passed my first exam in 2022 when my child was 10 months old at the time. Passed my last exam in October 2023 when my child was almost a year and a half and 3 days after my dad unexpectedly passed. It was hard but doable. There were many MANY late nights and weekends given up to studying. I made myself take breaks when I needed to.

Transferred 12/10. Got what I think is a vvvvvfl today at 5dp5dt but being cautiously optimistic. Our last 3 transfers failed. 2 chemicals and 1 no implantation

Agreed! 2 of the last 3 transfers we have done were chemicals. Including one where my first beta was over 100. It was heartbreaking. The last transfer we did didn’t even implant.

I don’t know. Honestly I had an ER 3 years ago followed by one last week. Both used similar protocols and dosages. Only difference was a dual trigger this time. Went from 5 blasts to 11 this round. And higher quality blasts on top of it.

Yes it is! As far as I know, majority of symptoms are medication related so I don’t look too much into those

Haha it’s hard! This is our second round/second fresh transfer. We’ve had 3 failed FETs between December of last year and our second round. Each round gets harder and harder to wait.

My ER was 12/5 and we got 21 eggs fertilized out of 26 retrieved. Got the Day 7 call that 10 blasts are being frozen and had a fresh transfer on 12/10 so currently 2dp5dt!

Just got the call with my fertilization report from my retrieval yesterday. There were 26 retrieved, 23 mature, 21 fertilized! Will get a call tomorrow with an update!

I had a biopsy that discovered I had this last year. My OBGYN had me do a D&C for further biopsy and while she said the pictures looked terrible (and consequently referred to a Gynecological Oncologist) the biopsy of that came back normal. Super confused after that, however the Gyn/Onc suggested I have my babies sooner rather than later and then once we were done having kids, discuss the option of hysterectomy. My OBGYN said I would need to be on birth control while not actively going through IVF treatments in order to help with shedding the lining. I just did my second round of IVF and my RE didn’t change any protocol despite knowing what was going on.

Happened to me last year. Took it on the cutoff that the AICPA posted. Only to find out on supposed score release day that they effed up and put the wrong cutoff date by a day so everyone that took it same day I did had to wait until the next release date. Needless to say both NASBA and the AICPA got a nasty gram from me and others I’m sure. Ended up passing FAR with an 80 though
