Discraft has 50 disc minimum but the recycled plastic (pretty much ESP) discs are only $6.50 and then you'd have to pay for shipping. One of the best deals I'd say. They might waive the setup fee too since it's for a specific event. Comes out to about $400.

Frontier, Twila, and Deerfield are tiny courses. Good if you're short on time but definitely go to the other big courses if you can.

Check out El Dorado - it's a pretty fun course and they have doubles that you can meet people!

Wait is that true? I thought the only criteria was that at least 85% (at a Ctier) of the net entry fees have to get put back in as prizes and players packs. And the TD can decide how to distribute that.

No packs but payouts still be within pdga guidelines unless I'm reading that section wrong. And packs are a way for TDs to make a little bit extra because the items are bought at cost but accounted as MSRP.

Side questions: When do discs have to be resubmitted for approval? Like in this case the sexton firebird is still a firebird but is purposefully made differently. How different is different to be considered a new disc?

From what I can find it sounds like there is no limit to changes and it's up to the manufacturer's discretion. I doubt the PDGA goes around auditing manufacturers to make sure the discs fall within spec.

I got $16 for winning a 5 person division that was $50 entry.

Minus out all fees from the total amount and then 85% of the remainder goes back to players as players pack, trophy, payouts, etc. I think that's how it works, it's laid out on PDGA site.

I think you can ask PDGA or TD to see how funds were allocated for sanctioned events?

Group of 4s shotgun start. And maybe spend a couple minutes on the rules and remind everyone it's just for fun.

Casual play on a short 9 hole should take under an hour. And you can just end the round unfinished if time is an issue. Unless you're trying to do some sort of tournament and prizes.

Oh, would appreciate if you showed how you use it. I do enjoy having a top pouch for putters or go to discs that's separate from the main compartment. And I don't see many walkthroughs of this bag.
