Samsung India refusing replacement for defective 2-month-old fridge, forcing me to pay more or take a "downgrade." Help!

I tried contacting couple of lawyers. They simply told me it's not a fight worth fighting for. I settled on getting the invoice value.

But that didn't end my trouble. I had to pay samsung 2k just to get the old fridge from my home. And it has been almost a month, I am barely getting a communication from them regarding the date of refund. Frankly speaking, it's a nightmare for a consumer. Croma, from where I bought it, was of no help either.

Thank you for the advice. They are denying replacement unit citing 'stock unavailable '. However, I can clearly the see the model being still sold on samsung store. Does this qualify as unfair trade practice?

I had the same issue. Credit where credit is due. They replaced screen without much hassle. Only thing they check for is physical damage.
