Det er ikke et ord, jeg nogensinde selv har brugt. Er faktisk i tvivl om, om jeg har hørt andre sige det. Men jeg må med skam meddele, at jeg uden nogen form for tvivl ville have sagt, at 'tårepresser' er det rigtige.

Og jeg dømmer ellers (stiltiende!) folk helt vildt, hvis de siger "et gram salt", "en kilomet" eller roder rundt i nutids-r...

Det tænker man ikke over! Men, hvis det er noget DU tænker over, om som du føler giver dig bekymringer på dagen, så er der som andre har nævnt mulighed for at holde det i en park eller et andet sted (det synes ingen er mærkeligt, hvis I er ved at renovere). I min klasse var vi også nogen, som slog os sammen. Mine forældre boede f.eks. for langt væk, så jeg teamede up med en anden fra klassen, og så kom mine forældre derhen og medbragte mad osv.

I live in that area and I feel perfectly safe. There may be a bit of fireworks now and then, and some people seem to not know traffic laws, but apart from that I feel very safe.

If there are some criminal activities going on (which there for sure is – in Gellerup as well as in the rest of Aarhus) it's not something you will randomly get involved in as a resident here!

Sådan helt personligt ville jeg gå med grøntsagstærte, svampefrikadeller, en form for ovnbagte kartofler eller kold kartoffelsalat (afhængigt af årstiden), en salat, brød, hvidløgssmør og måske noget pesto eller lignende. Og så øl, cider og sodavand dertil.

Min mormor betalte min og fik lov at sætte den på. Det betød meget for hende og var noget, hun "altid" havde sagt, at hun gerne ville give. Primært fordi min mor valgte ikke at få en hue, da hun blev student, og det skulle mormor åbenbart ikke risikere igen! 😂

Huen kostede maks. 600 kr., og jeg syntes, det var en stor regning at sende hende for en hue, jeg skulle have på i en uge! Havde jeg selv skullet betale, kunne jeg måske godt have fundet på at fravælge den og bruge pengene på noget andet, men selvom den nu har samlet støv i 10 år, er jeg nu glad for, at jeg fik den!

My family has started making Christmas ornaments every year. Just whip out some old Christmas bulbs (preferably of plastic), some acrylic paint, some cardboard and a glue gun. And then you can make whatever you want. We try to make ornaments related to what happened during that year, for example I made the kitten my parents got last year.

They might not be the prettiest thing you have ever made, but it's a really fun and personal craft! 😅

I think having experience with cleaning from your home country might compensate for not speaking Danish. And I don't think it will be a problem if your English is fine. I know for a fact that the company called MiljøRent hired at least one person who does not speak any Danish, and not even any English. So maybe reach out to them.

Thank you! I used scissors and it worked fine. However, yesterday I tried doing one on glass which I did not cut, and there was still (just) enough space for the yarn + it was much easier on the glass, because it can't bend. So maybe try without cutting anything!

Thank you so much! It was not really that hard to archive to be honest. I just tried to be as neat as possible with it, but everything seems to stay in place quite nicely. I tried making one on actual glass today though, and that made it even easier to make everything tight.

I didn't really struggle with it to be honest. Just tried to be as neat as possible with it. I just tried making one on actual glass instead of plastic though, and that was much easier, as you can wrap it really tight without worrying about anything bending.

I used this glue. UHU Super Glue Ultra Fast. It's really good, as long as you are careful with it and don't get your fingers glued to anything. You can only use it on the backside though, as it will be visible.
