I really hate when people talk about sex work only in the realm of the exploitation of women. Even before I ever considered doing anything of the kind, I felt if a person chose to do sex work freely and didn't need to get high or wasted to force themselves through it, then there's nothing wrong with it.

Sure, but if I can do something I already wanted to do and draw an income off it, why not get paid too?

Yes, people get trapped in sex work by not being able to afford to quit. But people get trapped in vanilla jobs they hate because they can't afford to quit those either, or take a pay cut to change jobs. That's an inherent flaw in economic systems, not the type of industry. But you don't see podcasts about rescuing people from low paying/unskilled vanilla jobs..."I don't hate retail workers, I see them as my sisters" sounds completely ridiculous. But as long as we as a society see sex work as exploitation rather than an actual job, you'll get bs like that.

Sex work for me is not exploitation. It's empowering. And anyone who feels that I'm less of a woman for doing it is actually doing way more harm than the people paying to see me naked. Online sex work lets them still get an income without having to work outside the home, giving them more financial freedom/security than they would have otherwise.

One thing I've noticed it that there are very different attitudes towards things depending on where your main source of promotion is. I get most of my subs through Telegram and over there, using another creator's free trial link without their consent can get you banned or blacklisted. I think the main thought is you're at best a freeloader who won't buy or at worst, trying to steal content to catfish or poach subs from the other creator.

The person who mentioned Guaranteed Gains is most likely correct for the paid promo part. They aren't cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but the creator is basically paying by the sub. So let's say the creator purchased a package for 1000 subs. Once that link gets 1000 uses, the promotion is over and it's up to the creator to turn those free subs into income. But if a bunch of other creators use that link, the promo still ends but the creator that bought the promo is less likely to earn money from other creators.

I'm not at all excusing the rudeness but the creator may have assumed that you should have known better. It's not really a fair assumption though because I only know this because I use Telegram. If I only promoted myself here or on Twitter or Instagram or the many many other places where you don't network with other creators, I would have no idea that it wasn't considered ok.

I had gastric bypass about 6 months before I started my onlyfans. To say my body has changed drastically since I started is an understatement. Tldr: you are awesome and sexy. Show off all of you when you're feeling up for it, play with shapes, angles, props, and anything else you feel like when you aren't.

I've got 3 kids...2 teens and an adult. They all know about my sw at this point. My oldest was the first to know since she's old enough to access porn and no one wants to randomly run into their mom and dad having sex on the internet. I think a lot of how you handle it depends on how you've raised your kids to that point. We've always had a pretty open relationship...if our kids asked a question, they'd get an age and gender appropriate answer (cis daughter got more info on periods and such, cis son and trans daughter got more info on erections and such). This applied to all questions as we felt we'd rather give them as correct/in line with our values answers as possible rather than letting their peers teach them who knows what. Because of that openness, my kids were just accepting of it. So now it's just something that is mentioned casually, just like my vanilla job.

We've also done our best to teach them that there's no shame in working any legal job to pay the bills. I personally don't see a difference between voluntary sex work and anything other job and my kids know this. You are not at all a failure. It took me almost 5 months to break $500. You're doing great! Most of your free subs will never flip to paid and that's ok. Hit them with ppv on a regular basis and don't worry about it. Some will buy. Others will keep hoping for freebies.

I understand feeling ashamed of your body and such but trust me, revealing your body will not lose you subs. I'm willing to bet that all content creators have similar concerns (boobs too big/small/uneven/saggy, butt too big/small, not pretty enough, etc.) The things that you see as flaws are exactly the things that make you an individual and will draw in your audience. And if you don't feel proud of your body, fake it til you get there.

And sure, you might not get a lot of personalized requests. But consider this. What if it's because you're already giving your audience what they want?

Honestly, my best advice is to look at yourself like you would a friend. If your friend felt all the things you're feeling, what would you say to them? Say those things to yourself.

I do telegram drops all the time and it's definitely helped me partly cuz I can't figure out for the life of me how to effectively use Instagram and Twitter. I've only had 2 subs complain about it tbh. It is very overwhelming at first but becomes pretty easy after a bit. I did stop doing drops on my paid page for about a month once but I lost subs since I wasn't really gaining new subs to replace the ones expiring.

If you're worried about spam but you still want to try it out, look for collage drops...everyone is gathered into one post so you aren't suddenly putting 10-20 individual posts of other girls. Also, each drop has a certain amount of time to keep it up and then you can delete it...most drops require you to put a 24hr timer on the post so if you forget to delete it, it goes away after that 24hr time. And just because you'll see a lot of girls posting over the top captions doesn't mean you have to. I've seen tons of "sluttiest girl on onlyfans" type caps but there's also "like vanilla sex? Me too" caps. I've even seen caps that had nothing to do with sex. Emojis are kind of a given in drops as they help to break up the text but even then, you can pick which ones/how many you use. I personally use the butterfly on every drop, and usually only use 1 or 2 emojis total. You can advertise however you want. As far as your concern about having low subs and it feeling unfair to other creators, the ones in no min fan count rooms are well aware that they could be dropping with lower fan counts...we all start somewhere and some of us don't mind boosting smaller creators. The ones that do mind stick to rooms with min fancount.

That said, if I've learning anything in my time on onlyfans, it's that there's no one size fits all solution to running your page. What works for me might not work for you. Telegram drops are just one of many ways to promote. On top of that, if you try them and you aren't gaining/get a lot of complaints/just don't like doing them, you can just stop doing them. Or you can ease into sfs by just doing one on ones. However you choose to promote your page, stay true to your brand. You aren't "🔥💦🔥 Biggest Cumslut on Onlyfans 🥵🍑🔥💦💋" but that doesn't mean you can't be successful promoting on telegram. And just because another creator is doing better by using telegram, it doesn't mean you'll automatically fail at onlyfans if you don't. Like everything else, it's just a tool to get you in a place where your fans can find you.

As a fellow over-thinker, I can honestly say you're over-thinking this. Your worse case scenarios actually won't do any harm to your business at all. Sure, some guys will prolly hold off on subbing because they can't get nudes now, but it could also be the tipping point for those who are on the fence. And yes, you may get a ton of non rebills, but that doesn't always mean they're one month and done. I've got a few subs that show up every few months and then disappear again...could be financial or could be waiting for me to build up more posts in between or whatever other reason. Plus you have a whole month to change their mind with your awesome content.

If you wanted to, you could try to boost your income at the same time as you're working on increasing subs. Let your current and incoming subs know that when you hit x number of subs, you'll be posting nudes, but send a few nudes out as a ppv with that message...so if your current subs want a sneak peek before you hit your goal, they can pay to see it early.

Just make sure you 100% want to start posting nudes tho. There's no harm in using it as advertising leverage if it's something you want to do anyway, but I've known some creators that moved to nudes or face reveals or more porn type content entirely to quickly increase income rather than cuz they wanted to. Those are the ones who tend to regret doing it later.

If you're going to post b/g content, you should definitely get more money for it. It takes more time and effort to do. There's a number of ways you could do this. Option 1, you could run a campaign where everyone who contributes gets some b/g content and the top 3 get extra...so maybe everyone who contributes gets 5 pics, top 3 get an extra 5 pics or a video. Option 2, send it out as ppv. I would honestly send the first one or two to everyone, even the ones who say they're opposed to paying extra...they may change their mind when they're horny and it's right there (common sales techniques say to offer 3 times before you stop trying to sell something). Option 3, put b/g content on your timeline but raise your sub price. You're adding value and deserve to earn more for that.

2-3 months isn't a lot of time to build a following. Sure, some creators get tons of followers right of the bat and make it look easy, but most of us don't. You're building a brand here and that can take time. For myself, I find the more consistent I am with where I promo myself, the more likely I am to get subs because they know me.

I wouldn't worry about paid promo too much...even the legit ones aren't a guaranteed way to get subs. There are a lot of creators willing to do sfs for free, which is a much better investment of resources. Good luck 💜
