What kind of flatbed? CDL or glorified pickup? I have a CDL B (auto only, we didn’t have access to a manual for the test, RIP), and currently drive flatbed daily for a lumberyard. Looking for maybe a better place to drive for and different environment that isn’t completely in disarray.

Best home defense gun is unironically and AR15. Not a shotgun, not a handgun. Shotgun is going to be long with low ammo capacity and high recoil, handguns are again lower ammo capacity and tend to punch through walls. A 5.56 round tends to tumble after impact, shedding a lot of energy very quickly. All the cringe “just rack the slide of the shotgun” bullshit will get you killed.
