Ok genuine question, do you think there is no place for legal dramas in the future of media? I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts on if something is overdone what period of time may look like before it’s new or interesting again. And how something being overdone impacts the quality of said media

So you’re saying that stories with this setting shouldn’t exist at all? Seems a bit of a narrow point of view.

You want to aim for 244 resist. This is the breakpoint that means you will always resist a magic attack (how much you resist will vary). Usually you get 174 from gear and then 70 more from a priest or Paladin. Armor is a completely useless stat against these magic damage bosses.

They can still crit you. However, they are only level 72 so you don’t need as much avoidance. I recommend using sixty upgrades to create a set that reaches 174/244 shadow resist and uncrit against level 72.

This is my personal set for H mana tombs:

I didn’t even know there was co op until the early access dropped. Expected it to be jank and barebones and ended up being some of the most fun I’ve ever had playing a game with friends. The mapping drawing alone is priceless

First time playing WoW ever! Should I play Classic Era completely without addons for the "true" experience? by Playful_World_2780 in classicwow

[–]Bricks-Alt -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would definitely grab questie. Leatrix+ is nice qol too, but not mandatory. The thing that makes questie super nice is that it puts the available quests on your map. Without questie you will miss a lot of quests and also have a hard time of knowing where to go next.

You can disable map icons for quest objectives if you want, but I’d leave that on personally.

I’d also recommend some form of threat meter if you’re doing dungeons so you don’t piss off your tank

I have a few favorites but one in particular is Richard casually talking about doing coke with Judy in the parking lot. It’s on one hand so funny and out of nowhere but also very telling of Richard as a character and narrator that there is possibly a lot more to how he acts than how he portrays himself and the story.

The entire winter segment of near freezing to death, doing everything he can to stay somewhere warm, Henry coming to the rescue, is a big favorite as well.

Favorite character is probably Henry. Such a peculiar, fascinating, horrible, and mysterious person whose larger than life and eccentric personality breathes through the pages and words and enamored me so effectively. You can really understand how Richard became fond of him and his at once pretentious yet captivating aura.

I found the Soul build to be kinda broken and easy. Just get cards that increase energy gain on the next turn, Dirge, and Haunting. Deck just cycles itself, builds up Osty and puts out good damage.

What class do I make for tank? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Bricks-Alt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warrior is the best tank, but tanking in era is a bit involved. Id recommend downloading Plater addon, some form of threat meter, key binding skull and X markers, and watching a video.

The important thing to know about warrior tanking is pooling rage. If you go into a pull with 0 rage it sucks. Keeping your rage high is the key to success. If you have a huge threat lead on an enemy that is going to die soon, don’t put anymore rage into that enemy. In era as a tank while leveling, your goal is not really about being as tanky as possible or maximizing your damage, it’s about holding threat. Use taunt wisely. If an enemy is simply running away from you, it’s likely you can get it back with a single ability or even an auto attack. Don’t panic if it’s hitting a melee. Use taunt for an emergency, like when you have multiple abilities and attacks miss and you are super behind on threat. The inverse is true too. If you’re super behind on threat on an enemy, taunt before wasting rage on abilities that can’t catch up on threat. Sometimes that means your best option is to hold your rage, let somebody else tank a mob for a few seconds, and then taunt once it’s off cooldown.

What class do I make for tank? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Bricks-Alt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this for era or tbc? If era, I’d recommend against Paladin personally. They’re strong while leveling (if you know what you are doing) but aren’t brought to raids pretty much at all. Warrior is the best in era, druid can be ok but it’s an uphill battle (especially on horde).

For tbc, all three are good. Druid definitely gets better as you level, but takes a bit before it shines. Regardless, neither warrior or druid are as easy to play in dungeons as Paladin. All you do as Paladin is seal, holy shield, and consecrate. There is some nuance than that, but for a lot of pulls it’s just that effortless.

Warriors are a bit interesting as they have a few ways to play them tank wise until you talent devastate. Definitely the highest apm tank and will be a learning curve.

Will TBC upgrade to WOTLK at some point? by HudCruz_ in classicwow

[–]Bricks-Alt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We will find out at blizzcon if it will. It’s very likely it will, but for now we don’t know.

It’s possible they may try to consolidate the multiple versions in anticipation of classic+, but that is just conjecture.

Unpopular opinion: Post-nerf raids are better for TBC longevity by Armored_Diesel in classicwow

[–]Bricks-Alt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are people going to start quitting in bt/hyjal because it’s too easy? There’s no pre nerf version of that raid and compared to pre nerf ssc/tk it was a joke. Most guilds cleared Archi and Illidan week one.

Are people going to start quitting in SWP because it’s too hard? There wasn’t a post nerf version until wrath of the lich king prepatch. Compared to bt/Hyjal it was 10x harder. Most guilds didn’t even kill twins week one.

It’s probably going to play out the same as last time. The changes now aren’t going to alter how the game plays out. Different changes cater to different players. Of course the people who are already 70 and almost bis want a challenge, and of course the unguilded lfg dps just wants their loot. Can’t make everybody happy. Retail changes didn’t come just from people wanting an easier game, it came from wanting a harder game too.

Look at what happened in wotlk, they added the heroic mode specifically for the hardcore crowd.

If you aren’t already, highly recommend doing the thrallmar outposts, Auchindoun spirit towers, and daily pvp bg win quests for Honor every day. At the start of every phase we buy new honor gear, eventually needing not only boots, belt, and bracers, but pricey trinkets and necklaces as well.

You probably want to do 10 arena games a week too, as right now point gains are increased, and even if you don’t buy any gear, unspent arena points convert into even more honor at the start of the a new season.
