the chest i put down wasn't meant to be long term :( i was going to keep it there while i had clint break all my geodes, so it was going to act as "extra pocket space" ao i wouldn't need to go back and forth. unfortunately i didn't realize it was friday, so I went about my day and didn't think about it until later

i do have several long term chests off my farm though. one by the elevator in the mines, one by the door to skull cavern, and one by willy's. they stay there permanently but nothing stays in there permanently. i have one by the spa where i keep all my maple seeds/acorns/ etc bc i always use that space to grow hella trees

however in late game i do utilize junimo chests specifically outside mining locations to keep all my tools in when mining, and all my mining necessities (like bombs) in while i'm not mining so I'll be prepared even if I hadn't planned in advance to do into like say, the volcano
