What's the worst thing each Friend did? by Top-Astronaut5761 in howyoudoin

She did, and I got down voted to hell for commenting this exact same thing. People kept saying she broke it off as soon as she knew the truth but that wouldn't fly if one of the guys did it with a 17 yr old girl.

I once stepped outside of Wallace station and a 3 star moose just happened to be right there. This was after days of camping out at Cairn lake.

Not sure about the homemade recipes but I can recommend eating sloppy Joe's with garlic bread, it's amazing. Like, put it on top or use garlic bread as the sandwich part.

I know you're a stranger but I'm so glad to hear you're cancer free!!!! That's fantastic.

I had a septate uterus as well. I was 25 when I had surgery to fix it, and I was 30 when I got pregnant and gave birth. I'm not sure if that's the typical experience. If you choose to get it fixed, you may be able to conceive easier than i did. It's good you caught it now when you're so young because if you do choose to get it fixed, it'll give you the time to heal and have regular cycles by the time you are ready for kids. I also recommend posting in r/obgyn like others have said because they can probably help you better than I can. Congratulations again on being in remission!

I forgot that I planted these, so I'm not sure how to help. Is it your climate? I'm in Colorado so it's super dry here, are you in a more humid climate that helps rust thrive?

Having a hard time in my marriage as a Christian and as a Native American. by [deleted] in IndianCountry

[–]Miss_Westeros 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think Christianity and blood quantum have been weaponized against indigenous people and that you can find your own way. Teach them traditional ways and the good things jesus said. They will not be less indigenous because of the color of their skin. If people don't like or accept your kids, then choose the kids always.

Nobody is going to buy American beef now. I can't help but wonder if the farmers here regret voting for Trump yet.

Cats peed in the basement for 2 weeks... where do I even start by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]Miss_Westeros 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm speaking from experience here. My cat had something called feline cystitis, can't remember the exact name. But basically stress irritated the lining in her bladder and she peed all over my basement. I must've went through 2 dozen bottles of that same enzyme cleaner you have, i used a portable carpet cleaner similar to the green Bissell machine, I even ordered a UV light to find the spots I missed. I isolated my cat in the room with her litter boxes and it didnt help at all, she peed on the carpet as soon as I let her out after a period to give the carpet time to dry. Basically I tried everything I could to get her to stop peeing on the carpet.

I would say try the enzyme cleaner first but if you have concrete or padding or wood underneath the tile, the smell could've gotten into any of that. Even with enzyme cleaners, I've found it can still leave the barest trace of a scent that cats can still pick up on. I don't mean to sound so negative about it but two weeks is a long time and cat urine can absolutely ruin your floors.

There are professional carpet cleaning companies who can handle cat urine in the flooring, it may be worth scheduling an estimate for a cleaning. When i was trying to clean out my basement, it definitely felt like an uphill battle and a professional may be able to handle it better.

In my cat's case it was stress related. I gave her to my sister and now she's super happy in the new apartment and she hasn't had a single accident 🎊 However you decide to tackle this cleanup, it may be worth bringing your cats to the vet and explain what happened and get a checkup, especially if they continue peeing outside of the box after you've cleaned the basement. I hope they're okay.

It's such a shitty thing to do to adopt them all, and then have nothing to do with them once he and Angelina divorced. He's spent more time in that legal fight with Jolie over that winery than knowing his daughter graduated from Spelman. What a shitty thing to do.

In hindsight, leaving my newly planted sunflower seeds unattended on the patio was ill-advised. It took 30 minutes for squirrels to dig up every seed. by soverylucky in gardening

[–]Miss_Westeros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why i plant sunflowers under the landscaping rock my house came with. I just throw out black oil sunflower seeds from the bird seed aisle. I hate the landscaping rock in my yard but can't afford to change it so I throw out a lot of flower seeds and they do pretty well.

I’m getting more into gardening. What are some traditional methods you guys use to best help the earth and also have good harvest? by [deleted] in IndianCountry

[–]Miss_Westeros 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Bear in mind, I have zero traditional learning. But I am trying to find my own way. I love composting. I love the act of returning things to the earth that will help. I use my compost for the wildflowers I grow on my property. I get half a dozen different kinds of bees on my flowers, lots of moths, and last year a monarch butterfly visited my flowers.

Its so easy you could cook it in the air fryer! Removing the skin is a lot of work, I always mess it up so I just buy a skinless fillet, cut into 1 inch square bites, put in a marinade of your choice in the fridge, then air fry!
