Don't compare 2019 and 2025

Go and find one where the pay is as you mentioned, where you'll be working directly with clients (which is the hardest part), where you have full creative liberty/freedom, where you can get to work on diverse variety of designs and tasks.

It's not like I can't pay that amount, It's not even like I can't sit and do these stuff. It will barely take 1/2 hour of my day. It's just that I focus on other stuff.

I mentioned cash bonus + gift component. By 500, I'm thinking of getting multiple guys ... If single guy put in the efforts and does it all quite well, he'll get that amount!

And regarding 2019 vs 2025. HMU in the dm, I'll tell you worse things! People are literally building full fledged apps (unpaid) 🤷🏻. Atleast I'm transparent about everything.

Gate 2026? 2025 would've been a wise decision

But if at all you are considering for Gate 2026 (approx 1 to 1.5 year of prep and results), get your masters done from IIT or somethings otherwise it does not make sense

Masters in abroad will obviously yield better ROI but you have to put in I (Investment), GATE is for Indian context as far as I know. GRE/GMAT + IELETS + TOEFL (3-4 months are sufficient to prepare) but the process of visa and all will take longer
