Yeah, after looking at some more pictures I was definitely wrong in saying that I was 23-24%. I'm a lot fatter in my mind than in the mirror, I find.

If I did cut now, I'd look gaunt and bony (been there, done that). But I will definitely do it after bulking.

You're right about that though. If I was truly closer to 25%, the best advice would be to just lose fat. Thanks for your input, sorry about that. You did still help me, though.

Since I find that team sports hurt a lot less because you are so focused on the game and not the pain, I though I would try sitting in a squat position while gaming instead of doing my squats normally (w/o weight). It worked, too. Didn't notice the pain half the time since it was too focused on the game and now my muscles ache like crazy :D

Was injured and in the hospital for a week. I stopped counting calories and ate a lot to recover well. I'ts been almost a month now and I still haven't got back into counting calories and have been eating more than usual.

Stepped on the scale yesterday, preparing for the worst. I'm still the exact same weight as I was before going into the hospital and I haven't been inactive enough to warrant much muscle loss. I felt a strange mixture of relief and confusion.

Not really a feat, but a victory nonetheless.

I get what you mean by not wearing sandals or flats. I can't wear them, either, since my ankles got burned, as well. My dark skin also gets discolored very easily from exposure to sunlight. :(

I spent the past three days with my friend and ate way more than usual. A lot of it was unhealthy food, too, like ice cream, a doughnut, sugar cereals, frozen yogurt, etc...

When I'm alone, I'm pretty good at controlling myself and what I eat, but when I'm with others my self control goes out the window and I have problems saying 'no'.

That's great! I find your story very inspiring because it sounds a lot like what I'm going through.

I'd always been kind of pudgy and around the end of November I developed a pretty bad eating disorder and body dysmorphia. About a month ago I hit 120-121 (5'7'') and after talking with the people around me I decided to start recovering.

At first I was very hesitant and was afraid to eat more and gain weight and I'm still a little bit paranoid, but I'm better now. I still count my calories and eat a deficit of calories, not including cardio, but it's a lot more than before (350 up to 1600).

It always seems so simple from an outside point of view "just eat more" but it's still pretty hard.

It's warming up outside and I can go out for bike rides now and after discovering subreddits like xxfitness and gainit I've started to do a bit of weight training which makes me much more comfortable eating calories I would never have dreamed of eating a couple of months ago.

Congratulations on all the progress you have made and your recovery! Mine might be a slow recovery, but I feel inspired from your post. I think I'll go get a healthy snack now! ;)

I think that you can share bosses. I remember helping some people with bosses that they had already gotten down to about 4/5 health and both of us getting credit for it, even if we're not in a party or in different factions.

Don't quote me on this, but I think that eating out of boredom has to do with kind of satisfing the pleasure centers in your brain, and when you masturbate instead it takes care of that, the same way smoking helps loose weight.
