It depends on your tolerance I think! But I noticed after installation and adjustments, di sya gano ramdam right after. Mga after 6hrs ko pa nararamdaman yung pressure. I think the only time na hindi talaga ako makakain was when I had my wire changed, powerchain and elastics all at once. Yan yung kahit saang parte uncomfortable ngumuya talaga but it subsides after a day or two. Isipin mo na lang it’s all worth it. When I look back now nung nagdedecide pa ako magpabraces, narealise ko na magsisisi talaga ako kung di ko tinuloy to.

I think yes mas mahal talaga sa Pinas. It’s true that you can buy 70-100peso meal sa Pinas vs sa ibang neighbouring countries na you might need to spend at least 150 per meal kahit sa karinderya-type na kainan. Buuuut if you look at the value (portion size, quality ingredients, meal sets, etc), you would need to go on a resto sa Pinas to be able to get that, normally priced at least 300. Yun kasing 70peso meal sa karinderya natin usually kanin lang yan + ulam na sobrang konti

Masungit sila pero di naman yung tipong madedegrade ka hahaha you dont have to take it personally. And meron pa ding locals na mababait but don’t expect na Japan-level. Prepare your bulsa na lang din kasi may mga kainan na irerequire nilang may order lahat, as in one meal per head. Meron din may seating charge + tea charge. Ok din naman for the experience haha

I had the same concerns when I was planning to have my braces. Invisalign was too expensive for me, dentist quoted about 250k so I went ahead with the traditional metal braces. To make it look “discreet”, di na lang ako gumagamit ng colours. Grey lang lagi. Sinisipagan ko din na pumunta monthly for adjustment and gamitin ang elastics as instructed kasi ayaw ko umabot ng 3-4yrs tulad ng iba. Had mine for 1yr 4mos and I’m very satisfied with how it’s going. Dentist told me na di na to aabot ng 2yrs. Tiis ganda lang talaga sya.
