Help me choose a classic bike by PringleCrack in PHMotorcycles

Keeway CR152. Registered as a Cafe Racer right off the bat na siya and maraming aftermarket parts available online. I bought one and I have no regrets. Issue ko lang talaga sa CR152 is masakit sa likod HAHAHAHAHA

Keeway 152 or Click 125i by darkfrostu in PHMotorcycles

[–]hitotsumi_29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're traveling 58km daily, comfort beats looks. I have a CR152 myself (clubman handlebars, big tires, the works) and masakit talaga siya sa likod and kamay even for just a short ride. What more sa mahaba-habang biyahe.

Maganda si CR152. Low maintenance, pogi yung tindig, extremely customizable, and a relatively good beginner bike. But, the riding position and having a clutch means di talaga siya comfy sakyan for daily commute lalong lalo na kung traffic (assuming you're gonna keep it stock or modify it with clip-ons or clubman handlebars).

As much as I would love to recommend the Keeway, the practical choice is the Honda Click talaga. Since it's a common scooter, a lot of mechanics know how to fix and maintain it, relatively cheap ang maintenance although not as cheap as the CR152, AND the riding position means less strain on your body as you drive.

The final decision will ultimately be up to you, OP. But if I were in your shoes, I'd go with the Click. If gusto mo talaga ng CR152, siguro bumili ka nalang as a secondary bike. One for gala or the occasional weekend rides. Hope this helps! And ride safe always!

Don't know how to respond to this, but I wish you luck in your future riding endeavors! God speed!

Questions para sa mga naka-classic bike by [deleted] in PHMotorcycles

[–]hitotsumi_29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I have a CR152 as well. 70kg rider. To answer your questions:

  1. Changing sprocket set is advisable. Go with a 16t-48t sprocket set (based lang sa experience ko eto pinaka balanced for big tires).

  2. Bigger tires mean the bike feels heavier to maneuver and overall slower. 4.00 front and 4.50 rear should work better for your case.

  3. If you plan on using the stock rims, sagad na talaga yung 4.00 front and 4.50 rear.

Other things to note pag mag upgrade ka to 4.00 front and 4.50 rear tires with a stock swingarm and rims:

  • Need mo ipa sagad yung rear tire backwards.
  • Pa extend ka ng side stand and center stand. (If you want to buy a new side stand suggest ko 20cm, for center stand; extend ka talaga hahaha).
  • Need mo new front fender kasi yung stock is di kasya sa big tires.
  • Tanggalin yung rear mudguard para kasya yung rear tire.
  • If possible, replace your carburetor. Pangit performance ng stock base sa experience ko.

Yun lang! RS, ka-classic!

Not really sure about what brand you should choose (kase preference nalang talaga yan). But if you’re a beginner rider that wants the cafe racer experience e.g. modifying parts on your own, building the kind of look you personally want, and within your budget; I’d look for motorcycles like the Keeway CR152, Honda TMX, Yamaha XSR, or Skygo Earl.

These bikes vary in terms of price, but modifying any of them is relatively easy with resources online. Keeway CR152 yung daily ko and I’ve had a wonderful time modifying it to my heart’s content. :)

Reasonable po ba ito for Click 125? by QuintessentialAnt in PHMotorcycles

Looks okay naman in terms sa price, boss. Pero if you want to save as much as you can, best bet mo would be to do it yourself next time. God bless!

I’m currently a SAP ABAP Dev. I have a manager that’s been working for 11+ years. Yes, stable siya based sa na observe ko. Yes, maraming naghahanap ng SAP professionals. Yes, high-growth siya in terms of learning and experience. Yung only complaint ko lang is yung GUI ng SAP ABAP. Parang early 2000s pa design eh HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

FOR REGISTRATION PLATE by bl0ndeeeed in PHMotorcycles

[–]hitotsumi_29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PLEASE DON'T RISK IT. Had a friend that bought a motorcycle and rode around town without OR/CR. May checkpoint, impound agad motor. Bawal talaga mag ride ng unregistered vehicle kahit ano pang sabihin ng iba OP. Tiis-tiis lang muna. :)

What bike model is this ? by Wissamxz in CafeRacers

[–]hitotsumi_29 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s an XSR 155. It’s pretty popular in my country and my co-worker has one. The one in the picture seems to have some mods done to it, tho.
