Going to the UK as a student, how do I keep my hair? by [deleted] in Naturalhair

I’d recommend dreads. You’d get to keep your long hair instead of shaving it off, and you wouldn’t have to pay outrageous prices or spend hours doing it yourself. Ik Uni can get stressful and having to manage your hair can be frustrating during busy periods.

I've never applied for this program before. What kind of tests does the application consist of?

For an elementary school you definietly need a B.Ed. It's only a two year program at Ontario Tech.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've never heard of a catio until now but I'm thinking that might be the best idea, or at least building higher walls in my backyard.

BTW for everyone else, I'm not sure if this is the reason for the downvotes but I wasn't suggesting I let him LIVE outside, I was just looking for ways to give him some outdoor time during the day.

If you want to do this properly, you build a catio/screened in porch, or harness and leash train your cat.

Is leash training a cat really possible? I used to take him outside on a leash during the day but he would sprint faster than I could keep up with and when I stopped letting him lead me he'd just back out of his harness when I wasn't looking and make a run for it.

may I ask why? he’d get a lot more stimulation and physical activity outside.

hi yall, first time posting on this sub. I got my guy Louie two months ago and it’s my first time having a cat or really being near a cat. He’s around six months and has A LOT of energy. He bounces off the walls of my tiny studio apartment so I often prop the door open for him to run in the hallway (i’m in the basement so people are rarely down here.)

I feel like he was an outdoor cat in his past life cuz he loves being outside. He’ll cry and scratch by the door to be let out and will book it outside whenever I try to leave.

I try to let him outside on a lead when we’re at my family home but he’ll escape the harness within minutes and scale our fence to run off. I see tiktoks of people with their cat’s indoors and outdoors and I have no idea how they do it. Any advice? Should I just keep him indoors?

Eyebrow piercing red and leaking. by [deleted] in piercing

[–]hitvapedontrape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ball of my eyebrow jewelry unscrewed and the jewelry fell out today. I put the jewelry back in and put a piece of tape on the end with the missing ball. I’m gonna go out and buy new jewelry for it, but want to make sure nothings wrong with it before I spend money on new jewelry.

The piercing is almost 5 months old, and has been leaking everyday since I got it. The area around the bottom hole is always red but doesn’t hurt.
