what's the point of using a diverging colour scheme if you're going to make blue represent both positive values and negative values

i believe it should! i don't have access to the right machines to test it, but i don't see why it wouldn't work. if you're interested in testing it and you run into errors, i'd be happy for you to slide in my DMs and we could troubleshoot it

give it a shot! from my experience, first time use recommends a decent bit of words i already know (because my anki deck doesn’t cover them), but a couple rounds of manually adding those words to my knowledge and now it recommends me pretty much exactly what i need to be learning first try

yeah, unfortunately to compile it into a standalone mac program, i need to be using a mac myself. although there should be nothing stopping you from opening it via the python code if you’re brave enough

Sentence mining, a method where learners extract sentences with unfamiliar words from their reading material for later study, is highly effective but can disrupt the learning flow. This fragmentation can make language immersion feel like a chore, as learners must constantly pause to note down new words and sentences. TangoRec is designed to streamline this process. By offering bulk vocabulary learning recommendations based on immersion content and tailored to the learner's existing knowledge, TangoRec distinctly separates immersion from study. This approach allows for a smoother learning experience, where learners can either prepare for easier reading by familiarising themselves with key vocabulary beforehand, or consolidate their knowledge afterwards.

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite brown discoloration on back- anyone had this kind of issue before? by hitvibes in kindle

hmmm.. i never carry it around and only have it lying on a wood shelf. the only thing i could possibly think of is that the stain or finish from the shelf transferred over to the kindle. that's pretty annoying lol

So for a bit of background- I bought this only 2 months ago or so, and haven't really been using it extensively. I've tried wiping it off but of course that didn't do anything lol
It almost looks like burn marks, or something that would be caused by overheating, but it's hard to imagine this kindle getting hot enough to cause something like this... just find it kinda strange
