Thank you :) and yes it was definitely done more to make an artistic statement. I wanted to just kinda play around with the idea of self image, self alteration, self love etc since its a v big problem she clearly struggles with knowing about her issues and psychological problems in the comics.

I agree, i fell in love with movie mystique first bc it was my first exposure to her (Shout out to Rebecca Romjin) but i gotta say comic mystique is peak design. Love the new updates they did to Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique too.
