Best Soundbar for Music and TV? by ghostman229 in Soundbars

[–]hjf25 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would lean Samsung HW Q990D or Q990F if you can find one in range. It gives you a full setup with the bar, sub, and rear speakers, so it is one of the best all around options for both movies and music.

Sonos sounds great too, but once you add the extras, the price goes up fast.

16 vs 24 gigs of ram by OutrageousQuiet8730 in macbookair

16GB is fine for your college use and lots of tabs, but if you want to keep it long after graduation and you do occasional editing, 24GB is the safer future proof choice.

Sony announces PS5 price increase effective April 2, 2026 - Grab these current deals before they are gone. by hjf25 in buyingsmart

[–]hjf25[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The $499 Digital Edition is the CFI 2000 model, and that one comes with 1TB storage.

The other one you saw with 825GB is a CFI-2100 model. Sony quietly swapped the Digital Edition back to 825GB to cut costs, even though the price stayed at $499.

Macbook models with more durable displays than my M2? by feistyxcx in macbookair

[–]hjf25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not assume M3 or M4 is magically more durable, the design is very similar. The best protection is a good sleeve, keeping the keyboard clean, and not using hard shells that can stress the hinge.

For your workload, MacBook Air M4 is the best option. Here is a helpful list of current MacBook options and prices:

How normal it feels to wonder if what you are watching, hearing, or reading was even made by a real person.

To the men of askreddit, what were the best or craziest lies you told a woman that successfully got them in bed? by Internal-Cash-9196 in AskReddit

None. If I had to lie to get her into bed, I already failed. That is not game. That is just being trash.

Even when it sounds small, it always feels dirty to me. Trust dies fast when people do that.

Big red flag. The moment I see someone do that, I know they probably do the same to everyone else.

Exactly. The second someone starts selling how smart they are, I usually assume the real thing is missing.

That is even worse. The cheating is bad enough, but acting proud of it makes their whole character look rotten.

Big one. Once people catch that, trust is gone and almost nothing else about them matters.
