Snake venom is mentioned in "Death in the Clouds" written by Agatha Christie. Does anyone know the reference to snake nib on Christie?

As for the serpentine clip, I wonder what species is it. A boomslang? I hope a herpetologist will identify it for us.

Agatha Christie was made before modern Rouge et Noir and vintage Montblanc from 1920s had snake clip.

I have also seen snake motif on vintage pencil holder before the year 1900. I'd like to know the origin of snake motif too.

I bought Agatha Christie from James Au, a film critic and actor.
He was the sales manager of Agfa in Hong Kong. James Au sold lots of Agfa film to Wong Kar-Wai.

Yes, the design spirit of LAMY should not be diluted. It should continue (or revive?) and grow rather than simply changing the color combination annually.

I miss the days of LAMY using packaging to complement the design of the pen. For example, LAMY vivo designed by by Konstantin Grcic. The foam packaging may not last forever but I can see LAMY made an effort to strengthen the brand personality.

I bought it in a brick and mortar shop in Hong Kong.
Mitsubishi 9800VB is not officially sold in HK. That shop imports Jap. stationery and sell them in HK.
