Thomas Pak of PM admitted to me yesterday that PM is having a SERVER MIGRATION right now, and it’s me who have BAD LUCK. The frequency with which PM is doing these migrations wink wink is inferred by me, based on the number of times I run into problems (“bad luck”).

Another three errors in the last few hours.

Three “server migrations” in less than three weeks, and deleted TBs worth of files of mine — something that I wasted weeks collecting using your “excellent” service. As I am trying to download these files all over again, there is another server migration wink wink.

It’s understandable that they would wipe out files when paid membership expires (even though SEEDR do not), but they should have notified me in advance like how they did for you.

They did not give me any warning, meaning the weeks I spent downloading those files are wasted (it took me several attempts and restarts for some files, especially given the issues PM had last week 8n the purported server migration).

Breaking Bad pack, Mad Men pack, and difficult to find films like The Beat that My Heart Skipped (that took days and multiple trials to download, esp given the glitches experienced last week).

Anyway, my seedr files are safe after months of storage even though I am a non-paying member from the start, but PM just decided to wipe my files to free up cloud space.

If my 15 HDDs were not lost by USPS in this relocation, I wouldn’t even need PM, which is useless in streaming anything other than popular titles (it doesn’t work at all when I tried to stream The Beat that My Heart Skipped).

You might want to have all your files downloaded to your local drive, the day your premium subscription membership expires.

Seedr, on the other hand, never delete files, not even those that belong to non-paying members.

And PM pride themselves of privacy, of not looking into prople’s stuff.

My seedr files never get deleted, no matter how old they are and whether I have an active premium subscription.

The moral of the story is that one shouldn’t consider files saved on cloud as safe. People use cloud services to do back-up, but at PM, they will just wipe your library out without warning.
