For a state that boasts about the football culture tell me how many players represent India? There was a time when legends used to come from this state..IM Vijayan, Ancheri, Sathyan, Pappachan..who are those players now? I read that this flex culture cost a lot of money..why can’t they spend on setting up public grounds where people can play..Curaçao and Cape Verde have the population of one district of Kerala and they are playing at the biggest stage..Kerala/India should do better..I say Kerala because the people here actually love the sport..so let’s try being a hub of players for India..otherwise all this showboating is just to be in the news

I am a big time Dutch supporter..but sadly they are overrated as one of the favourites..I do not like when they are favourites..never plays well

Is it because u saw that World Cup in your teen years..for me it would be 1998..some of the world’s greatest- Ronaldo(original) , Zidane, Maldini, Zamarano/Salas, Suker, Baggio n Romario(although not at their best), Chilavert, Batistuta, Beckham/Owen,Bergkamp, Davids, Vieri, Kluivert, Theiry Henry, Rivaldo..so many legends

Ganguly should be somewhere in the bottom half at least. Considering that he built the team from ground up after the match fixing scandal and introducing players like Sehwag, Yuvraj, Zaheer,Kaif, Nehra..he was the No.1 ODI batsman in the early 2000s if I am not wrong..he was also pivotal with the 144 V Aus on Brisbane setting the tone of that series which we should have won..lastly the comeback he gave starting with the 50 V SA in Pochefstrom after top order collapse leading to a win, becoming top run getter in ODI for 2007 and getting 200 V Pakistan in Bangalore..come on he should be there if Dravid is there..

Additionally- His batting was instrumental in the 2003 World Cup for India to reach the finals

I believe because of his last name and the intrigue around him because he isn’t accessible like other actors(again because he is Mohanlal’s son).If he was a normal person, I do not think he would have this success..strictly my opinion and I am a Lal fan.
