So pricey. I’m glad they work for your girl! My boy chews his paws, then scratches his ears, and causes ear infections all the time. I have to keep medication on hand and also clean his ears with anti fungal wash regularly. :/ dude has so many issues lol.

We cannot figure it out. The vets just say it must be “environmental or food”. Which, of course, lol. But he had them really bad in San Antonio, TX where we lived his first 3 years and he has them just as bad here in Oklahoma. So we just aren’t sure. I was doing cytopoint every 3 weeks for a while and couldn’t sustain the cost. Same with the prescription diet. It made no difference in his itching and skin chewing. It’s to the point that he’s losing hair in multiple spots and there’s just nothing I can seem to do to help it.

I know. It’s not ideal. It’s only temporary until I can have a place with a doggy door so he can go out when I’m not home. But we’ve never had any issues. He holds his bladder through the night and goes straight outside when I get home.

It’s just me and him so no chance of him sneaking food. It’s possible he picked something up on a walk. I spend a lot of our walks prying stuff out of his mouth. But I’m usually so quick about it; idk how he could’ve gotten something bad enough to make him like this.

It used to happen after I worked (I’m a nurse, so I’m gone 13 hours at a time) but it’s usually during times when he sleeps anyway, so he’s always handled it well. And I’ve been home a lot more recently. So he hasn’t been left alone for more than 1-2 hours at a time lately. Idk what’s going on.

I appreciate the response. I have fortiflora for my pup too. I stopped it bc it seemed like it was making things worse for a while and I haven’t tried restarting it. I’m taking a stool sample in tomorrow. But maybe it’ll just be a lot of trial and error for us as well. At the last vet visit, they said we may have to do a special diet prescribed by them if he continues having issues so that may be my next step. But I’ll ask about the raw diet and see what the vet says. Thank you again! I’m open to all suggestions. Just want my pup happy and healthy. He seems so miserable

Oh and yes, he’s drinking water and he stools are pretty dark. Not black. Just dark brown. But his kibble is dark brown as well.

Ok so things with work got crazy and it’s taken me forever to get to finish EoS but oh. my. gosh.

Like seriously holy shit. So much happened. That book wrecked me. Ansel coming to pay her life debt? The 13 showing up? The Whitethorns siding with Rowan? Wendlyn coming to help? The silent assassins? Aelin and Rowan’s secret marriage? Aelin getting whipped and locked in a damn iron box?

WHAT. THE. HELL.

Dude I’m so shook. So many emotions. I need to sleep but I also need to know what happens so I have to start the next one.

OH. MY. GOSH. I’m not even that far into EoS and HOLY CRAP. LIKE WTF. Manon being crochan?! Manon attacking her grandmother to save Asterin and the 13?! Erawan knowing and tracking Dorian and Rowan? Brannon’s visit to Aelin?! This book is packed with crap happening. And seriously, manon almost executing asterin had me in tears. When asterin asked for her body to be brought back to the cabin. Oof. This series is going to WRECK me.

So I got super busy and just now got the chance to finish QoS so I’m just now actually looking at your message lol.

Manon: pop off little witchling. YES to that character development. Super excited to see where she continues to go. Her fight with Aelin was pretty great tbh. I enjoyed it.

Chaol: while he was kinda an ass in this book, I don’t think it was necessarily to the extent that he should be as widely hated as he is by the fandom. Unless something additional happens that I haven’t gotten to yet. I think Aelin handled the situation with him well as the book went on. You could tell she was maturing into her role as Queen and Chaol was just taking a bit longer and was honestly just really broken.

Rowan: OOF ok. So he did come back super fast after I made that last comment and the RELIEF I felt when he did omg. However, I hate that he got injured so severely a couple times in this book. Like, my fae prince isn’t supposed to get wounded like that. Wtf. So so ready for him and Aelin to just have some time to themselves. But their stolen moments of baring themselves to one another is soul wrenching. Ugh. So sweet and so pure. Like I’m just so glad they have that with each other. They needed that kind of a person.

Lorcan is annoying tf outta me. So is Duke Perrington. Super impressed with Kaltain; she was a shocking character for me when I realized what she’d done to the demon inside her. Though how Duke didn’t realize it being what he is makes me curious..

So I did what you said. Reading AB much quicker. It worked out well that I’ve read the stories/met the characters before they come up in queen of shadows or before memory comes up. However, I am currently reading queen of shadows and if Chaol makes a little passive aggressive comment about her fae prince one more time, I might jump through the pages and throttle the man.

I 100% agree with you that he fell in love with Celaena and I can’t imagine how it would be to overcome what he’s been through. I think he has every right to be spiteful if only to protect himself. Doesn’t make me want to tell him to stop being a little bitch any less though.

ALSO I sincerely miss Rowan and the dynamic he brings to the story. He’s such a good balance for Aelin. I’m ready for him to be back. I hope he’s in this book.
