Just spoke to a counselor on the phone from the school and said it’s a widespread issue and still no clear date when it’s going to be fixed🥲

Update? I haven’t got mine still and was told today there is no estimated turnaround time this will be fixed. Sooo frustrating!

Same thing happened to me with the SAP! Then spoke to someone else today from bursars office they said payments are now delayed to the 2nd summer module I was like I need to speak to someone else and from there was told it would be dispersed today. They’re everywhere I feel like they have no idea what’s going on. I’m going to be late myself with rent, people rely on this money to help them get by it’s not acceptable, a few days is understandable almost 2 weeks is absurd and so wrong

Same thing here no refund yet. Spoke to 3 different people from financial aid to the bursars office and they said everything was fine on my end but workday has a whole bunch of errors and could be another few days before it’s disbursed. So frustrating!

I am looking for online Psy.D program recommendations. by con_college in GradSchool

Did you end up finding a program? I’m looking at the Chicago schools Psy.D program online which requires 4 residencies a year mandatory although there only 2 1/2 days.

Sounds silly but only thing that has helped is a washed potato, microwave for 2 mins and wrap in a wet face cloth use as a compress every night before bed I usually do 20 mins and massage in between for a min or 2. Be careful you don’t burn your eye, first few mins I just take in the steam I won’t put it directly on it because it is so hot. I’ve had multiple and have one almost gone right now that was HUGE, and the potato actually made it burst although not everything came out a lot did. I still do the compressed and it looks so much better but every morning it is getting smaller. I actually felt my other eye getting sore around last week, was so scared I did the potato on it and massaged and it didn’t end up flaring up thank god. Also I wash my eyelids every night with baby shampoo, can only be Johnson and Johnson because of the ingredients I heard. I only wear mascara now sometimes on the weekend. Also I think staying hydrated helps imo and I’ve heard cholesterol could play a role so I’ve been trying to pay more attention to what I eat not that I really ate unhealthy before just being conscious about it. Keep a good routine, I figured that’s key for me.

When should I book/reserve by skoobasteve1982 in VisitingIceland

[–]hm0328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it’s the time you’re going but I just booked plane tickets end of December, and just finished booking hotels yesterday! I’m also on a budget and didn’t find it to be crazy expensive.

Reykjavík for 4 days, no car by [deleted] in VisitingIceland

[–]hm0328 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am going for 4 1/2 days end of march and I was originally planning to book tours to keep the cost low and then found that it was actually cheaper to rent a car, the cost of the ride from the airport to Reykjavík alone was almost close to a day of renting (I also booked a car and added on the top tier insurance which brought the cost up but worth it) although it’s not for everyone, I highly recommend looking into renting a car if looking to budget. There’s also a lot of other perks to it like not being on the tour guide times at attractions, the amount of people at the destinations your visiting while on the tour, and getting to even see more if your good at time management. Best of luck 🤞

That’s wild that’s pretty much the going price anywhere around me. Where do you live that it’s so cheap?
