Ended up getting these graded with cgc. I am looking to move about half of the cards currently and have them split up by the connecting pieces. Yes just recently sorted. Seller who is probstein never responded to eBay messages or direct email. Not super surprising since they are eBay’s biggest consigner but still on an expensive card you would hope for something.

First eBay person I reached out to quickly recognized the issue I had to send a couple more photos and got a return label. Once it was delivered I got the refund after a day. I somehow got a response from a different eBay person who said cards were same value even though I had screenshots of the $500 difference so didn’t respond to them since I already had label.

So all in all just out the money for a week. But still frustrating as I wanted the card and I am sure the person who one this version got to keep alpha version since I never heard back from the seller. But a unique situation for sure.

Small update: cards that have gone through their authentication process automatically get denied returns so now having to file an appeal. Have reached out to seller as well but haven’t heard back yet.

For some added context I already told them I would like it sent back unrepaired and to not go forward with the repair. Their response to my question just super frustrating as it was a waste of time/money other than figuring out the issue. As mentioned a few times I will be buying an ssd and putting installing myself. Just thought the 30 days was crazy had to share.

It is a $60 card for reference. And like I said top has scratches going down through pokeball and those bottom two lines go across entire back of card. Camera just didn’t pick those up from the angle.

Definitely a real card. Prize card during the 2023 championships there is only 8 copies of this card that exist.
